On rare occasions Johnny would take me to some of his private celebrity parties. And today was one of those days.

The theme was black and white couples (party for couples mostly) But he didn't invite me as his other half, he invited me just as a simple guest.

This pissed me off. We have been talking like we were dating for a long time now, so why did he do that?

*ding*

My phone pinged and it was a text from the very man I was pissed at.

Johnny: Wear white since I'm wearing black, see you there 😘

I lifted my finger to agree, but than I got an idea.

I decdided to wear black, and instead of going with johnnys invite I went with someone else who invited me.

Marcus

Me: Hey you still up to go together? I changed my mind

Marcus: Girlll, always, I'm wearing white right?

Me: Yup see you there

Marcus was my dad's friend, about my age. I wouldn't be cheating on Johnny if I went with him because Marcus is very gay

I put my phone down and got ready quickly.

(At the event)

I walked in the door and the first thing I saw was the wine table. I quickly paced over to it and grabbed a glass.

"Look who it izzzz" I heard a high toned male voice shout from behind me.

I turned around and found my friend Marcus in a slick, white tuxedo with a pink rose in the pocket.

"You look so good marcus, the pink flower really brings it out." I smiled.

"Girl you're stunning! That dress is really showing your curves!" He exclaimed.

"Thank you, I guess I decided to step out of my comfort zone.." I told him.

"So what changed your mind? Why aren't you going with Johnny?" He whispered.

I tapped my wine glass with my index finger and sighed.

"He's just being an asshole that's all."

"Listen, men ain't shit, live your life while you can!" He responded.

I rolled my eyes at his words and responded.

"Unfortunately I've caught feelings for this man so it's kinda hard."

I continued.

"Watch he's gonna completely ghost me in a few weeks, I wouldn't be suprised."

He laughed at my words and pointed at someone in the crowd on the dance floor.
