Note: the other characters involved in this part of the campaign will have their own chapter due to how much art and lore they have. And they're NPCs that are used for one battle ;-;

As you trek up the mountain path, a gust of wind causes you to shiver.  You've been hiking for hours.  But in the distance ahead of you, you suddenly glimpse a golden gleam.  Upon drawing nearer, you realize that it is not, in fact, just a gleam.  It's a city decorated in gears and cogs that gleam in the afternoon light.  This is Opularis, the steampunk city.
Don't be fooled, though- this is a shifty place of crime, fighting, and most of all, Greed.  Despite the shockingly high crime rates, there is a law enforcement.  In an attempt to intimidate criminals into ceasing their activity, the Clock was developed- an arena where criminals fight to the death while avoiding the massive, sharp clock hands moving along the arena floor. However, the criminals instead enjoy the entertainment in addition to their criminal activity.
The city is also on multiple levels, with the bottom level being the shiftiest areas, the middle level being the main city area with the Clock, and the top area being the beautifully columned temple and shrine of the one and only harpy god themself, Mammon.

Don't be fooled by their innocent expression!  Like a crow, they're cunning, greedy, and above all, petty

And this is just them in a cute, modern outfit :)

The next part is gonna be my favorite non-god NPCs! They get a whole part because, like I said, I have too much art of them.
