Chapter 3

Eva's POV:
The time is 4:05pm and I'm getting ready to go out with Lucy. I'm planning on wearing a dark red crop top with a baby blue flannel on top, a pair of baggy blue jeans and my white trainers. In the meantime, I'm doing my makeup. I put some eyeliner, my mascara, a bit black eye pencil (just to make my eyes pop) and some clear lipgloss.

...

It's almost 5 and i hear knocking on my door. It must be Lucy...
I open the door and we're ready to go!
She's wearing an oversized blue shirt with some black jeans and her naturally curly brown hair that reaches about her shoulders.

-Your mother? Lucy asks me

-You know, the usual... I say and i let out a chuckle in order not to show how bothered i am that she's sleeping once again...

We're heading towards out favourite park together. Every time we meet, we go there to hang out. It's the only park with plants in our neighborhood. We always admire the trees and the grass. Especially in the evening, the whole atmosphere is so calming.

-So... I start saying.. First of all, how have you been??

-Leave aside what I'm doing and tell me what happened!! She says while laughing

-I met...no scratch that, i saw someone  today...that I've never seen before..

-Seems logical enough

-Yeah... It'sjustisawthatsomeoneandilikedherverymuchandidontknowifshelikesmetooorevenifshelikesmebecauseatfirstisawherglaringatmebutthensheseemednormal... I tried saying in one breath

-Oh well...try to get to know her better fir you to realise if you do like her and after that, we'll see..

-Well there is another "problem" which I'm not sure if it is a problem because i only like her appearance, nothing more...

-And that "problem" is??

-You see... She's a teacher.. NOT MINE.. but still.

-Oh perfect. She says and she stops a bit to analyse the situation. Look, in my opinion, it is totally natural to admire someone BUT be careful not to fall in love!!!

-Nah, such thing won't happen. She's a professor how could she possibly give me hints for me to fall for her??

-If she doesn't give you the go for anything or at least the feeling of it, be careful not to fall on your own and then don't come back crying saying you got suspended.

-Lucy, i give you my word, unless she starts i won't do anything.

We sat underneath a very big tree and started talking about our week.

-Oh i almost forgot! I met a girl. Her name is adrianna.

-Woww, is she good? What's your impression for her??

-Yes.. She's a very good. And we have the same music taste!!

-That's good!!!

...

It is dark now and the yellow light that are hung on the tree brunches are lit. It's wonderful.
Suddenly my phone starts ringing..

-It's my mother... I say to Lusy, give me a moment

-Hi mom...

-Do we have any food at home? The moment i heard her voice, i knew she had just woken up

-I've made some pizza, it's on the kitchen counter. I told her

I turn to Lusy

-She hung up on me...

-It's alright. She tells me

Yes, i suppose it's alright

She picks up her phone and takes a look at the time

-It's 8:30, they must be waiting for me at my house

-I have to go too...

-If anything happens, text me yeah?

-Okay, you too!

-Of course!! See yah!!!

-Goodnight Lusy!!

When i arrive home, i see my father. He just came back from work. My father teaches guitar. He's the one that taught me!

-What's up? I asked him smiling

-Where were you? He also asks smiling back at me

-I was out with Lucy! Where's mom?

-She's in the living room watching TV.
He answers looking towards the living room

When i go there, i see my mother eating pizza watching FRIENDS

-How are you?

-I'm fine...are you hungry? She asks while pointing at the two slices of pizza that were left.

-Nahh.. I'm okay, you eat it. I'm going to go take a bath and then rest, i have school tomorrow.

-Okay, goodnight.

-Goodnight mom...
