Mattheo leads me into his dorm, and I'm surprised to see what appears to be an exact replica of my room. But where mine is decked out in Gryffindor colors and a more cozy vibe, his is more sleek and modern with dark green and silver everywhere."Mine's better, right?" Mattheo asserts, keenly observing my reaction.
"It's pretty much the same room in different colors," I reply, heading to his bookshelf. "Do you actually read, or are these just for show?"
"I read more than you might think," he claims, and I give him a doubtful look. "Looks can be deceiving."
"Alright, then what's your favorite book?" I tease, knowing he would struggle with the answer.
"I'm pretty sure there are more interesting things to do than talk about my reading preferences," he deflects with a hint of amusement in his voice.
"Is that so?" I question walking back over to him. "What did you have in mind?" Mattheo's brown eyes watch you as you walk up to him, surprised by your confidence.
"How opposed are you to kissing a guy you just met?" he teases, gauging your reaction.
"Not opposed at all actually," I reply, narrowing the space between us. He arches an eyebrow, shifting his hand to my waist as I encircle my arms around his neck. "So are you planning to linger in that state of surprise, or are you leaning more towards kissing me?"
Mattheo gazes intensely into my eyes, and then his lips meet mine. I tighten my arms around him, deepening the kiss. "You're really fucking beautiful," he murmurs, looking down at me.
"You don't have to keep trying to flatter me, Mattheo. I'm already kissing you," I tease as he tightens his arm around my waist.
"I'm telling the truth," he insists. His lips return to mine, a brief kiss before he pauses once more. "As much as I want to explore a few things with you, we should probably finish this tour and get to your room before the others do."
"If we get to my dorm quick enough, we may have time for more exploring before the others get there," I suggest, pulling away from him to make my way out of his room.
"Hold on. Just one more." He swings me back to him, kissing me again before allowing me to take the lead as we navigate our way out of the Slytherin common room.
Mattheo meticulously leads me to classroom after classroom until I know exactly where I'm meant to be for all of my classes on Monday and then allows me to lead the way through the Gryffindor common room to my dorm.
"Oh, my dorm is way fucking better," he declares as he strolls around, casually fiddling with my belongings.
"Does your dorm have a fridge with a summoning spell on it? I can literally eat whatever I want when I want," I reply, observing as he immediately rushes to my small kitchen.
"There is no way you have a fridge that does that shit," he scoffs. I burst into laughter when he returns with a burger in hand. "How the fuck is this fair? I'm never leaving your room now."
"Oh really? What happened to all that my room is better shit?" I goad, walking over to him and taking a bite of the burger in his hand before heading into the kitchen to grab a drink.
Mattheo follows you, watching as you pull a drink out for him as well. "Paws off my burger," he quips, devouring half of it in one bite.
"My fridge, my food," I reply simply, washing down the bite of burger I had just taken.
"Well, when I trick you into being my girlfriend, it's going to be half my fridge," he smirks, watching for my reaction.
"Bold of you to assume I want a boyfriend. Maybe I just want to fuck," I retort, making it clear that I have no immediate interest in commitment.
