Y/N'S POV
After debating on where to spend the night, we decided to sleep in the forest like in the movie. It was far from the original camp they stayed in, I don't want Gothel to just emerge from the shadows and manipulate Ray. Ain't taking a chance.
Now we are under a tree. Flynn went off to find some branches or wood to start a fire for us while Me and Ray sat at the grass under the tree.
I glanced at Ray who was talking about how amazing the Lanterns are. "Ray, I have something to tell you." I took this opportunity while we were alone. He turned his head towards me. "Is something wrong?" He asked.
'How do I do this…' I thought to myself. "Would you believe me if I told you that your mother is not your biological mother?" Now I'm hoping he'll believe me.
Based on my observation, he looked confused. "Why would you ask that?" He asked with furrowed eyebrows.
I took a deep breath. "I know your hair is magic. And no, I'm not interested in it. Gothel kidnapped you when you were a baby. Ever know who cutted your hair on the back? Well, it was Gothel. She tried cutting it, but when it lost power, she took you. The Lanterns always appear on your birthday because that was the day that your Family had first floated a lantern up in the air." I explained, and by the looks of it, Ray looked confused, shocked and in disbelief.
