AAKARSH'S POV

As me and my brother were on the hilly road fighting from the accidental attack, we were badly injured on arms, legs and some part of head too had various cuts. There came forward a strange man to help us, who was somewhat smaller in body frame than me. He fought withthose henchmen and when they were gone, he gave us some instant first-aid after that he took us to his home where he tended our wounds with ayurvedic or herbal medicines and asked us to rest. When I woke up it was already evening and Ankush was still sleeping in the effect ofmedication, I looked around to see the place, it was a small wooden house built in the valleys of Himachal. Suddenly a voice came from behind,

"Does, it still hurts?"

I reeled back in surprise. I hadn't expected such a small, gentle voice come from a man, especially since it didn't fit his cold demeanor.

I replied, " Strangely no." I was shocked that the pain reduced to nothing in such a few hours without any doctoral help. But he again spoke -

" Who are you? And what's your name?"

It was another shock that he doesn't recognizes me and my brother as the royals of Rajput. I introduced us to him that, I'm Aakarsh Rajput and the man with me is my brother Ankush Rajput. Also asked his name-

I'm Manpreet Singh and the lady with me is Sarika Singh my wife."

They further helped us by letting us stay there for two days where that lady Sarika also helped Ankush in the preparations of meeting for which we came, as our all preparations were destroyed in attack. As me and Ankush were going to leave the next morning I was only thinking of a way to show my gratitude to the people who helped us, so I said," All I really want to show is my gratitude towards you for saving my and my brother's life. I can give you Anything you want- a rich status, money, land. You just have to name it."

Manpreet answered dismissively, "It's fine. I don't desire material wealth."

I was surprised by his aloof response. In most cases people would be happy to receive gifts, but not for this man. I again said," Well then, what can I do for you in return?"Manpreet said, "All I can wish for both of you is to live a humble life." For the next time, I was again surprised. Never had I met somebody this selfless and modest. In my entire life, I had often encountered greedy and selfish people that I doubted that a pure hearted person still existedin this world. But it seems like today I had finally found my answer. Our Saviers were extraordinary, so I decide to present them a different opportunity. I mused thoughtfully- "l have an offer. May I employ you both the talents? Please be my bodyguard and your wife Sarika can be Ankush's secretary as we were already searching for it."Manpreet didn't show any interest, from his indifferent reaction. I clearly didn't find the offer inviting. When he said, " Thank you, but I will have to decline that." At his rejection, my hopeful expressions faltered.

I again persuaded, "I know this sounds bizarre coming from a person who came unexpectedly, but what I'm trying to say is I really admire your skills, also my life is in danger. Beside it would be nice if I could have a friend like you."

But the answer I received was pf disappointment- "I'm sorry I can't accept." I said that I will ask this question again when we will be returning from the meeting so you could get time to think. Again, in the morning while leaving I said, "My offer still stands." and gave my special card which only contains my name, contact and address. And asked him if he changes his mind and accepts the offer, he can immediately contact me, with that we left for the meeting.

AAKARSH'S POV

Now after two days of meeting only I have returned to house of Manpreet while Ankush remained in the car only, I didn't get his call or text, so I don't expect him to accept the offer. When I met him, he didn't talk about the offer only asked me to follow him to a place. As we walked across the field of flowers, making our way to the thick forest. I took this opportunity to observe the surroundings, the sweet, colorful flowers dancing along the gentle wind basking in the mellow sunshine caused a contended sigh to leave my lips.

Manpreet: "As you are already here, there's something you should see."

My curiosity piqued in when I was about to ask, I saw that there was a huge, beautiful waterfall and now we were standing on the top of the valley and the nature's beauty that was present there was breathtaking. As soon as I saw it the words left my mouth, "It's stunning."

Manpreet agreed to it by slowly nodding and then turned to me and said, "I'm ready to be your employee."

"l accept the offer."

"But I have a condition"....

A FLASHBACK

AUTHER'S POV

As Aakarsh left from Manpreet's house, both Manpreet and Sarika were sitting together discussing about the offer. When suddenly something written in the card caught on view of both. It was the place written in the card caught on view of both. It was the place written as address in Aakarsh's card Jodhpur which was a cue for them to accept the offer.
