Rebellious teens

after a 20 minuet drive, we finally came to a stop.

"A run down train track?" I say simply. My eyes running over the rusted metal and decaying wood.

"Dom, Vince and I always used to walk here after highschool. It was a special spot that used to be hidden by trees and shit" letty speaks with a tone of reminiscent, her hands pointing around her.

"Oh so like your child hood getaway" I say playfully, walking closer to the tracks.

"Welll... more like a spot to hide away and smoke weed" letty brings her fingers to her lips and throws her head back, puffing an imaginary blunt.

"You rebellious teens" I exasperate, spinning to look as I stood raised on the train tracks.

"Damn right" she rasped a laugh, following me as I balanced on the tracks with my arms out.

After a second of comfortable silence, letty asked "what were you like as a teen?" I look down at her, feeling my hair move against my neck.

My breath evens out, and my brain starts turning.

"I was..angry" I giggled, hiding my slight change in posture.

"Angry? What did you do? Pick a couple pockets, shoplift a few panties" I laughed at her underestimating statement.

"Selling car parts, stealing cars, dealership robberies" I say in a sweetly sarcastic tone, and started cackling when lettys jaw dropped a few stories

"Well fuck" she snorted out.

"Tada" I say playfully as I jumped off the small ledge and landed in front of her with jazz hands

"Damn mamas did not think you had it in you" we laughed as we walked back to my car.

"Keys please" I hold my hand out. Waiting for letty to drop them, but she looked at me with a raised brow.

I giggled "well you wanted to show me somewhere, I wanna so you somewhere too"

Letty bowed her head with a shy short giggle and placed the keys in my hand.

I shut the door to the drivers seat, and look to letty.

"How fast does your car go?" I say as I put my car in first. And pulled out of the run down car park.

"140" she says with pride. "Can make a quarter mile in 15" she winks.

I laugh at her cuteness and nod, pulling off a main road and proceed to the spot no cars ever drive on, it's basically unknown to the public.

"Welcome to roadway 65, I know it as deadman's road" I say pointing around us as we enter the empty road way that stretched for miles before connecting back up.

"By the way, I've got you beat at 190" I say before increasing my speed down the straight road, changing gears when I hear their whine.

I see lettys eyes flick to my speedometer, and watch her eyes widen further when she sees the number climbing.

I pull the hand break up and turned the wheel till we spun, and faced the opposite direction.

"Did the quarter mile in 7.5" I smirked playfully.

" what the fuck is in this car" letty says, her voice dripping pure envy. "Hopes and prayers" I giggled. Before taking off on the road again, getting back to a fast speed and turning, letting us spin until we're straight and then taking back off.

"How did you learn to drive like that?" Letty asked gently

"Picked it up over time. When you're running from the cops you either gotta go side first into a telephone pole or learn to drift" I shrugged, a smile raising to my lip, eyes on the straight road.
