The Safe House

Nobody moved a muscle as we saw the shoes of the person coming down the stairs. Then I relaxed and said.

"Oh my god, you bitch"

"Um babe?" Alfie said.

"Selena, you scared the living shit out of me"

"Sorry Mia" the girl coming down the stairs said.

Jackson sucked in his breath, he did it every time he saw Selena. Why you ask? Because Selena was absolutely stunning, with emerald green eyes, jet black hair and pale skin, she was beauty in a person and Jackson may have had a bit of a crush on her, she was also my other Beta.

I suppose I should tell you what the rest of us look like now as I didn't earlier. Well Jackson has messy brown hair and chocolate eyes. Selena thinks he's cute and I think they'll get together. Alfie is gorgeous he also has jet black hair like Selena but icy blue eyes, he's taller than me and he has abs (so does Jackson but Alfie's are better). Kimmy has hair so orange she could be a Weasley and dark brown eyes, she's short and therefore closer to hell so don't get on her bad side. Then there's me, I'm blonde with blue eyes, signature red lipstick and I'm around 5.9. I also have a 3 inch long scar running through my right eye so yes I can only see through one eye and as it was made with a silver dagger I can't heal it the way I normally could have.

"Selena how come you're here?" Alfie asked her once she was fully down the stairs.

"Crystal saw hunters outside the house so see told me to leave so I ran through the Passage and came here, why are you guys here?"

"There were hunters on our street too" Alfie replied.

Crystal is Selena's roommate, who although is not a Lycanthrope, knows all about us.

"How the fuck, did they know? Fuck this shit I need a cup of coffee" Kimmy said walking up the stairs.

"I'll help you with that" Jackson said as he went to go up the stairs. Then all the colour drained from his face as he was still healing, so Selena ran and helped him stay upright.

"Come on Jack, I'll take you to your room" And Selena made her way up the stairs with Jackson.

"Well, shall we" Alfie said holding out his hand.

"But of course" I said taking his hand and we walked up the stairs to our room.

When we got to our room we sat on the bed and looked at Alfie and I couldn't believe he was mine. He was funny, he was hot, he was.... well, he was everything good in the world.

He reached up and touched my scar.

"I love you" he said as he kissed it.

"I love you too" and then I kissed him.

One of the varies reasons I loved him was because when everyone teased me over my scar he would take my hand, lead me to our tree, and he would kiss my scar while he held my hand to the part of the tree that was engraved with our names. Then he would say "this scar's beautiful and so is yours". It didn't matter how far away we were. Sometimes he would hold my hand while he drove to our tree. I loved him so much I didn't know how it was possible. That's why no one in either of our packs just suggested we broke up to stop everyone coming after us, because they knew how much we loved each other. No one said "your only nineteen there will be others" because they knew there never would be, we loved each other that much.

As we kissed the sky grew dark. Time was different through the Passage, we felt like we only ran for 15 minutes but we were in there almost all day. I broke away from Alfie.

"Babe, I'm going to take a shower, okay?" I said to him.

"Babe, I'll join you, okay?"

"But of course" I replied and we went and had our shower.
