Vale looks nice. Not as nice looking as Atlas Academy but grand none the less. Most of the Templars told me that out of all the schools, Beacon was definitely the best one because of its programs and teachers, which were considered the best out of all the schools. When my ship landed, I walked out of the ship and wandered around to see if I saw anybody I knew. I then saw a girl that looked familiar, couldnt place my mind from where but, they seemed familiar. I decided to follow her and thats when I came to a revelation

It was Ruby, my childhood friend whom I havent talked to ever since I got adopted 12 years ago
Note: Flashback is set around the time Rubys mom and Coles parents were still alive
Cole POV
Cole: Come on guys. Race you to the swings.
Ruby: No fair! You got a headstart!
I was racing to the swingset with Ruby and Yang. There were four swings, enough for each of us to be able to swing as we tried to see who could go the highest. After who knows how long, I stopped myself so I could go inside and go to the bathroom. As I was making my way to it, I overheard my parents, Ruby and Yangs parents and Mr Johnston talking
Caleb(Coles Dad): I need you guys to understand.
Tai: No! Why couldnt you tell us earlier?!?
I slowly sneaked behind the wall to the kitchen to get a better look. They were all sitting at the kitchen table
Jessica(Coles mom): Our Orders rules tell us that we can't divulge the true nature of our Order. Just telling you now is putting you both in peril.
