Louis's POV
A nurse pushed us all out of the room and closed the door. We sat down on the floor outside, crying hysterically. We held each other, praying for this to end well. It was hard breathing at this point. I stood up and went to the bathroom. Crying and being worried made me feel sick. The crying triggered my gagg reflex, and I was soon over the toilet vomiting, feeling even more miserable than before. I soon stopped and took a deep, shaky breath. It was hard to breathe. The sadness and stress about Niall made me hyperventilating. I walked to the sink and washed my face. I was pale, and my eyes were red. I walked out of the bathroom to see Liam standing there. He was looking just as bad as me.
"Are you alright?" He asked me.
"Not at all." I said. I was definitely not good at all. My friend was dying.
"Hmm." Was all Liam answered. It was understandable not to say more. What do you even say in these situations?
I walked back to the others and sat down on the floor again. No one said a word when I came. As expected. After just a few minutes, the door opened. The nurse smiled. We all broke down in happy tears. I knew Niall was strong!
"You can come inn to him, but be careful and quiet. Remember how hard this is for his body." The nurse said.
Niall was in bed still with closed eyes. But I could see his chest raising, meaning he was alive. I placed my hand over his heart, I just had to feel it beating.
Maura and Bobby were hugging each other tightly while sobbing of relief, but also the miseries.
After some time, Niall slowly opened his eyes. When he saw me standing over him, he smiled at me weakly.
A tear dripped down to his cheek when I stood over him, looking him into the ocean blue eyes.
I slowly bent down to kiss his soft cheek. His skin was as cold as he was pale. I turned around to see the others just looking at us. I took a chair and placed it beside Niall's bed before I placed my hand on his heart again to feel his steady rhythm while I slowly drifted to sleep.
I woke up. Niall was still deep asleep. I quietly stood up and walked out of the room since none of the others were there. I made my way to the cafeteria where everyone was sitting. I sat down with them. We sat in silence for hours until Mauras phone rang.
"Hello, it's a nurse. We have to inform you about something that happened to Niall." The person on the other end said.
