Best night of your life

*It was Christmas time at the Avengers compound. Everyone loved it there. Well.... maybe except for Loki, he was usually a bit annoyed by it all but he secretly loved it.*
*And now, you were making cookies with Wanda. It was night time and the compound was light up beautifully with Christmas lights and decorations. Most of the Avengers were in the main room talking. It was the best time of the year.*

"I love Christmas so much it's my favorite holiday of the year" You said joyfully

*Wanda's eyes lit up at your words.* "Mine too!" *she said. Then she smiled.* "It's always so beautiful at the compound at Christmas. Everyone loves it."

Well maybe except Loki he looks like he's not enjoying it

"Yeah, he tries to act all tough and mean but he really loves Christmas deep down." *Wanda said.* "He just doesn't like to admit it."

"Could I tell you something Wanda?"

*Wanda turned her attention back to the cookies for a minute and then turned back to you.* "Of course! You know I'm the best listener. What is it?"

"I think I might like Loki" *I whisper to her

*Wanda's eyes widened and she looked shocked.* "You *like* Loki?" *she whispered back.* "Like... *like* like?"

"Yes"

*Wanda's eyes grew wider yet and she smiled.* "Oh my god that is so cute." *She looked over and saw Loki nearby.* "Here," *she whispered to you.* "I'll have a chat with him for you!"

*Wanda got up and walked over to Loki.* "Hey Loki," *she said, not even trying to whisper.*

*I turn around acting like I'm busy*

"Loki," *Wanda said.* "Guess what Leah said to me? She likes you. I mean *like* likes you."

*Loki looked up from what he was doing, his look turning to one of shock. Then it turned to an upset frown. He was silent for a moment and then turned away and walked off, out of the room.*

*Wanda rolled her eyes and walked back over to you.* "Pfft. What a drama queen." *she said. She seemed annoyed. Then she looked at you and smiled.* "Just so you know, I think it's super cute and awesome that you like Loki. I actually think the two of you would be perfect together."

"I hope he likes me back I really like him"

*Wanda looked out over the rooms of the compound.* "I can guarantee you that he's gonna fall in love with you. He's just playing hard to get right now, like he always does. But he loves Christmas. And you like Christmas. You two have things in common, Leah. It's all but guaranteed. Come on, let's finish these cookies and see where he's off to."

*Wanda started towards the kitchen again.*

"Plus if there's a mistletoe around maybe we can kiss under it"

"Mmm, he'd *definitely* like that." *Wanda said to you as she grabbed a few more cookies.* "I'll make sure to decorate with mistletoe," *she said with a grin.*

*Loki was now in the hallway just outside the kitchen.* "What on *Asgard* do you want now?" *he snapped, annoyed at Wanda.*

*Wanda chuckled as she replied.* "Well, to be honest, I just wanted you to know that Leah here likes you." *she said, not even bothering to keep her voice low.*

*Loki scoffed and rolled his eyes.* "I'm aware," *he said.* "She's made it painfully obvious."

"Oh, did you hear that Leah? He knows." *Wanda said to you, still smiling and sounding cheerful and excited.*
