The next morning when Micheal woke up Jeremy was gone. He looked around feeling bad for what happened last night. It was just a huge misunderstanding taken too far. He didn't mean to raise a hand to Jerem or to make him feel upset. He wishes he could take it all back. He felt that the whole world was against him at the moment.
As Micheal sat up in bed the sudden smell of bacon caught his attention and the song Stand By Me by Mickey Gilley. Jeremy's song. He hastily got up and put on a shirt and sweatpants and made his way downstairs. There in the kitchen, he saw Jeremy and his sister along with Evan. That stupid, bloody crybaby. Jeremy was making eggs and bacon for breakfast for the kids. He was giggling and talking to them as he cooked.
God, he looked so handsome and just so adorable. Micheal wanted to see this scene last, maybe into their adulthood with children of their own. That would be wonderful.
The scene was great, it was breathtaking. Heart-wrenching.
Micheal walked over to the counter as the radio switched songs.

Micheal sat next to his brother and sighed.
"Morning, Jerem."
Jeremy turned around and smiled softly but almost painfully.

"Morning, Micheal. How did you sleep?"
He says in an almost monotone way.
"Good, I guess."
