Chapter 7

Abhi and akshu went to the hospital for check up ... 

Since Abhi had already informed the dean about his arrival the next day, the dean had made sure that the gynaecologist had no appointments at that time and he took Abhi and Akshu directly to the gynaecologist room. Dean left them to have a private conversation with the doctor and Abhi held Akshu's hand as the doctor started her interrogation. Abhi was all ears to hear everything which he won't be bored anytime in his life and he listened keenly as he is accompanying her to the hospital after a long time ...

Doc- Hello Mr. and Mrs Birla, Avni Mam told that u will be visiting along with Akshara mam Mr. Birla, and Mrs.Birla How is your health and do you feel any kind of  morning sickness or dizziness ?

Ak- No Doctor, But i feel very lazy sometimes that i want only sleep and nothing else ....

Doc- Thats not a problem Mrs. Birla and are you guys ready for the scan to check the growth of the baby...

Ak- Haan doctor, i am so thrilled to see the babies, infact i am going to see them for the first time ..

Ab- first time ?

Doctor- haan Mr. Birla , she refused to take a scan without u as she wanted to see the babies with you 

Ak- doctor pls get the things for the scan and i am very excited to see the babies....

Doc- Lets do a scan and check the growth of the baby but your bladder need to be full to carry out the scan. I suggest you stay and have lot of water or juice even tender coconuts which willfill your bladder then we can do the scan. In the meanwhile I will inform the technician from the lab to perform the blood test.

Ak- Why do you need blood test ?

Doc: Mam,its done usually to check the count of haemoglobin and as well the sugar level. Usually few women wil have raise in sugar level during prenancy and that will not be good during labor so its better we monitor everything to avoid any complication .

Ab- Is there any more test that should be done ?

Doc: Yes, we do thyroid test and that has to be done on empty stomach so we will do that in the next check up and make sure you bring her empty stomach. We will withdraw blood to test it. Now you can give her some liquids to get her ready for the scan.

Abhi thanked the doctor and took her to the private room. The techinican took her blood sample and they sat on the couch.  Once he left Akshu leaned on Abhi's shoulder. Не took the juice that Avni had packed for Akshu and made her drink.

 Ak: Good thing Avni maa packed the juice and water when we left home...

Abhi gave her some water to drink and they waited until she felt the urge to pass urine. Abhi informed the doctor about it.

Akshu laid on the bed and loosened her skirt and scrunched her top revealing her Cute belly bump. Abhi winked at her and held her hand while the doctor sat next to Akshu facing the monitor. She squeezed some gel on Akshu's abdomen and pressed the transducer and dragged it along her abdomen. She stopped and turned the monitor to Abhi and Akshu tilted her head to see the monitor.

The couple shed tears looking at the little creatures they had made out of love. Abhi squeezed Akshu's palms and kissed her knuckles.

Doc: do you want to hear the heart beat ?

There were no words but they nodded and soon the room blarred with the sound of the heart beat of their baby...Suddenly both Abhi and Akshu felt their heart beats in sync with their baby's so fast and drumming against their rib cage.

Abhi took his mobile and recorded the sound that would give peace to him his whole life and the sound which made him change his decision of aborting the babies...He mumbled a sorry to the babies...

Doc: you can clean and we will talk at the desk.

Ish: Can I get a copy of the image of our baby?

Doc: Of course you will receive it.

Doctor left from there and Abhi took the tissue paper and wiped the gel from her abdomen. Не kissed her forehead and her abdomen letting his tears over there. Akshu wiped his tears and shook her head indicating him to stop crying but he cried letting out all his guilt forever from his life.

He lifted her and placed her on her her foot and they reached the doctor's cabin who passed a smile to them.

Doc: Congrats once again. Babies are fine and from the scan we can say the babies gestational age is 24 weeks and 5 days.All the developments for this stage are normal.

Ab: Thank you have you received the blood test report of Akshu ?

Doc: Yes, She is doing good but she looks very weak. You need to eat on divided portion for the babies healthy growth. You can stop the folic acid tablet. I will prescribe the multivitam in syrup and calcium tablets. you can start them from today. Eat more of vegetables, leafy vegetables, fruits and protiens too.

Ab: She is craving for more chocolates and ice creams.

Doc: Cravings are natural but I won't advice you to stop eating them completely but considering your babies health I request you reduce the intake. You can choose the alternate to satisfy your cravings.

Akshu: thank you doctor for being so patient and giving so much details.

Doc: Its my duty to get your baby safe in your hands. You will come back next month same date on empty stomach for the test to be done.

Abhi and Akshu thanked the doctor and left the hospital. 

Abhi and Akshu reached home and Abhi told whatever the doctor told to Avni maa...and the went to take rest .....

On the other hand, Aarav alias Neil is going to Kriya's office for filing a divorce case against Aarohi ....

At Kriya's Office,

Neil- Why do i feel that i have seen kriya somewhere ... i know that i am seeing her for the first time but i feel that i know her since a long time .... ok lets see the work which i came for ...

As Neil was entering her cabin, he heard her talking to someone ...

Kriya- what to do Arjun ... he doesnt even remember me ... he is seeing me like he is seeing me for the first time .... he doesnt remember me even as his classmate what to do ? 

V- ..............................

Kriya - what a joke yaar ... he doesnt even remember me ..... and should i tell to him that i was the one who sent him love letters and gifts and also i am the one who saved him when a car was about to hit him .... should i tell him that i am the angel who he is searching for .....

Neil was shocked at the piece of information ...... Kriya is his angel ... the angel who saved him many times and when he was about to meet with a deadly accident, she was the one who saved him ........ he didnt want to lose his angel at any cost .... she can only cure him at this time ...

Neil saw Kriya had cut the call and was looking into the case file and thats when neil entered the cabin.....

She saw Neil looking at her  with teary eyes and panicked and went to him ....

Kriya - neil what happened ? why are you crying ? did anything happen neil ? why are you not talking neil tell me neil ...

Neil - angel .....

Kriya looked at him with wide eye....
