The Next Tomorrow

Chapter 4

We all got out of the truck and I ran straight to the house. "Um, Emma I think you forgot something." Said Michel throwing me my phone. "Oh thanks." I replied. I went into the small but beautiful house and got some Mountain Dew to drink. "Aren't you going to drink any beer?" Said Brianna while she took a giant gulp of her beer. "Me, beer, really bri?" I replied." Hey your a junior now, you can do what you want." She said and then walked off somewhere. You see I'm one of those kids that would really enjoy having a nice alcoholic beverage but are too afraid of who would find out of my misbehavior.

I started to wander off into the house to find Kierra sitting on a completely empty couch exept her and plopped next to her.

"Aren't you going socialize with anyone?" I asked.

" Well it's not like I'm friends with many of the people here!" She replied

"Ok then, that's when you talk to people so you can make more friends!" I scolded.

"Fine." She said then she stood up and walked away.

I continued to sit on the couch and once in a while take a gulp of my Mountain Dew. I sat there for about five or ten minutes before I heard someone yell my name. I perk up and try to find the source of the yelling. It was, of all people, Michel.

"Ya!" I yell in response.

Once he heard my response he swiftly sprinted towards me and took a seat right next to me on the couch. Once he was seated he put his arm around me. Again.

"What is with you and putting your arm around me?!" I say.

"I can't just be friendly to you?" He asked.

" Ya, there is a fine line between friendly and trying to get with me." I reply.

"Well I'm sorry that I have alway kind of found you to be more than a friend to me." He stated.

"Umm..... I'm going to find Brianna." I awkwardly said and walked away.

Sorry I haven't updated in a while cause. I kind of forgot too with me having to go to school now so I hope you guys like this book so far!
