—jinhye was born in seoul, south korea. she grew up in a family of four, her mother and her twin little brothers. her father left them when he found out her mother was having two kids instead of one. so, jinhye grew up as the emotional support for 3 separate people. as soon as she was 16, she was working part time wherever anyone was hiring, and all of the money she made would go towards bills, clothes, or food. so, she never had a chance to focus on herself for years until the twins turned 16 and took on the odd jobs. they even helped her figure out what she wanted to be: an idol! so, at 17, she started training and debuted less than a year later.
