Never enough 3/3 (angst)

A few months had passed, and Chuuya was getting better. He did still have his day where he Felt like everything was falling apart. But at least he had Kouyou by his side which was enough for him. A few days later the Mafia and The Ada were put up for a joint mission. Which meant Chuuya had to work alongside Dazai, the man he didn't want to speak to again. "Hey Chibi?! " Dazai said in a sing-song tone. Chuuya didn't respond to Dazai. And with that Chuuya didn't talk during the mission which was starting to piss Dazai off. After the mission Dazai grabbed hold of Chuuya's arm. "Let go of me, you waste bandages! '' Chuuya yells out trying to get off the Dazai hold. "Why have you been avoiding me? '' Dazai said while looking at Chuuya.Chuuya didn't face Dazai, Chuuya pulled his arm from Dazai's grip, and left not even looking back at the man he once loved. Dazai was surprised to say the least, Chuuya wasn't acting like the person he knew back then.

When  Dazai returned to the Ada office, he went straight to the hospital room to find Kouyou to get an answer from her.Koyou was lying there in the hospital bed she was put in after being captured. "What do you want? " Koyou said in a bitter tone. "What happened to Chuuya? " Dazai asked, waiting for an answer. "Chuuya was a mess after you left. He was harming himself both physically and emotionally. Chuuya stopped eating all together and got really hurt on the mission,barely caring what had happened to him. " Kouyou spoke out, letting the tears fall from her eyes while she continued to speak. "It got so bad that I was worried Chuuya was going to kill himself. He is doing ok now but not completely better. You hurt him  physically and emotionally. You don't know half of what he's been though.Kouyou said while wiping the tears that were falling down her face. Dazai was completely shocked; he never thought he would hurt Chuuya to the point that Chuuya considered killing himself.

" I'm so sorry. "

"I'm not the one you should be saying sorry to. You really are a sick man Dazai." Koyou gestures for Dazai to leave her alone and he does as she wished. Everything that Chuuya went through because of him, made him feel horrible. "I should tell him why I left, " Dazai mumbled to himself while walking back to the Ada office. Grabbing his coat Dazai left for Chuuya apartment to make things right to right a wrong that happened five years ago. While approaching Chuuya's door, Dazai had a million thoughts running through his head of what will happen when he enters his ex lover's door. Dazai took a deep breath and picked the lock of the door, to be met with the ginger male standing right infront of him. "What are you doing here!? " Chuuya yelled out while looking at the taller male. "Chuuya I'm so so so sorry. I should tell why I left,and the reason is"before Dazai could tell Chuuya why he left, Chuuya cut him off.

"I don't want to hear your excuse. I wasn't enough for sheep and I guess wasn't good enough for you either. " tears fell down Chuuya's eyes as he spoke up. "Just leave already. That's what you're good at isn't it. " Chuuya said while wiping his tears with his sleeve. "Chuuya,just please let me explain. That's all I'm asking. "

"Fine" Is all Chuuya managed to say. "I left because Odasaku died. And told me to become a better man, and to be away from all the abuse Moir put me under. That reason left,it had nothing to do with you. I still thought about you everyday and never stopped loving you." Dazai spoke out to Chuuya hoping he understood that he still cared about him. "You never cared! It took you five years to tell me this.I let you into my heart just to watch you  terror it part. Just go already. I want nothing to do with you. "And with that Dazai left with his heart shattered, the promise he made himself to fix his relationship with Chuuya was gone. And he will live the rest of his life knowing if just told Chuuya why he was leaving none of this would have ever happened. Now he'll just live with the guilt of breaking the heart of the one he loved.
