I was in math and Miss Mia told a hot ass girl to sit next to me and ofc she did
"Heyyy"she said I looked at her up and down and licked my lips bc OMG SHE MAD FINE "Wassup"i said She then sat down and I asked for her name "Imani but you can call me mani, you?she said "Nyla but you can call me ny or nyla doesn't matter" I said
We had all our classes together so we sat next to each And I asked if wanted to go get lunch with me and if i can have her ig and number(she gave them to me)and she told me she is going with her friend but I can come and I did,we walked to her car and this girl was there I think it was her friend(yep it was Bella I think)
"Heyyyy bella"she said hugging her "Heyyy,is this the hot nyla girl you was talking about?"her friend said and she stood there embarrassed I just smiled cuz I thought it was cute
"Ououo,am I the hot nyla girl u was talking about?"I asked her
"Mayybee you are"she dragged out as her hit her friend's arm
We got to Chick-fil-A and order what we wanted I payed bc we was using her gas so I payed her back But we went to park somewhere and eat our food and introduced ourselves
"Umm..i live with my mom and dad and bel-"she said as she got cut off by her phone ringing when she answered it She looked shocked,confused and worried
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE GOT SHOT"she shouted and began crying I looked at her with concern
"IMANI"I SAID LIKE 8 TIME BUT NO ANSWER "IMANIIII" I SAID THEN I GOT HER ATTENTION "Who got shot,Imani who got shot,talk to me mama please" i said but she just kept quiet I got out the car and went to the driver seat and took her to the back and as she cried on too Bella's lap
"PLEASE TAKE ME TO THE HOSPITAL NYLA PLEASE"she cried And I did As soon as we got to the hospital she ran inside and kept asking for the person who got shot(she still hasn't told me who got shot) When the doctors finally came the they say"its too late,she's gone"
I walked up to mani and hugged her as she cried on me
----------------- Back to the future -----------------
I took Bella to crib and I asked if mani wanted to go with her or back to her crib but she said no So I took her to my crib and I just sat on my bed as she sat on me,she was still crying until she feel asleep on me so I just went to sleep with her
I woke up a few hours later and Imani was in the bathroom doing something so I went to her
"Mama you wanna tell me who got shot?" I asked She stoped what she was doing and looked at me like she was about to cry again
"M-my momm- momma got sh-shot"she said as she began to cry again
I picked her up and I to the bed with her and sat down with her still in my lat as I rubbed her back to try get her to calm down and tell me more about everything that happened,but she couldn't so I just let her cry it out while I just rubbed her back
-------------- Few hours later --------------
I was in the kitchen getting water for mani when she came down and taped me
"I'm sorry" she said and I looked at her confused
"What are you sorry for ma?"I asked
"For crying on you and just coming in your house and shouting at you" she said
"Nah don't be sorry you was shouting for a reason and I let you in my house and let you cry on me there's no need to be sorry ok mama"i said going to hug her
