She had been running from something for what felt like hours. Her entire body felt like it was on fire, her muscles ached and screamed for her to stop but she couldn't, she had to get away from it. She didn't know what it was but she knew she couldn't let it catch her. Suddenly she had ended up at a dead end. She turned and watched it get closer. She closed her eyes and awaited death.
(Name) sits up and gasps for air looking around frantically. She's in an unfamiliar room that almost smells stale. Like it's never been touched.
"Must've been some nightmare. You were making a lot of noise." (Name)'s head turns toward the voice so fast you'd think she broke her neck. Georg stands in the doorway with his arms crossed over his chest.
"Or was it something better than a nightmare?" His lips curl into a suggestive smirk and (Name) shakes her head aggressively.
"Nope. Wait where am I? Why are you here? Am I still in that house? Why are you keeping me here?" The questions tumble out of her mouth in droves. She keeps asking them until she realizes she's not gotten a single answer. She focuses her eyes on Georg who has a smug expression on his face.
"Bill should be the one you ask all that crap." He walks over to her and pulls her out of bed like she weighs nothing. "Come on he's waiting for you in the living room." Georg drags her along despite her protests. He drags her to the living room and pushes her onto the couch plopping down next to her and grabs her wrist to keep her from running. She looks around the room and notices Bill is sitting across from them with his legs crossed.
"Oh, so you finally noticed I'm here." He rolls his eyes and stands up walking up to (Name) and crouching down to her eye level. "You, girl, are something special."
"What the fuck does that mean?" (Name) blurts out her sentence without thinking. Bill begins to laugh.
"You are something little maus. Let me explain in the simplest terms possible. You belong to us body and soul. You are bound to us by fate. You, my sweet little maus, are our soulmate."
"You're joking, right? That's not a thing. Soulmates don't exist."
"They may not exist for humans but they exist for us-"
"Woah woah woah pause, you aren't human?" (Name) interrupts.
"No, we're not. Tom and I are demons. Georg is a vampire and your little savior is a werewolf."
"No no no, those are not a real thing. Those were made up for books and movies." She shakes her head and Bill can't help but laugh at her response.
"Go on Georg show her." Bill motions to Georg who rolls his eyes in response. Despite that, he opens his mouth showing four inhumanly long fangs two on top and two on the bottom. (Name) looks at them shocked for a moment before instinctively reaching out to touch them out of curiosity. Georg doesn't move letting her graze her fingers over his fangs gently. He does shiver when she gently presses her thumb to one of his top fangs to see how sharp they are, puncturing her thumb in the process. She hisses and pulls back her thumb and Georg closes his mouth turning away from her.
"Those weren't some prop. Holy shit, YOU GUYS WEREN'T FUCKING WITH ME?!" (Name) freaks out and shouts at Bill and Georg. Bill laughs and stands up.
"You'll have to get used to it maus, because you aren't going anywhere."
