Fourteen Years Later:

Hermione was trying to hold back tears. It was finally here. Her son, Scorpius, had received his Hogwarts letter over the summer, and he would be off to school until Christmas. Her daughter, Nymphadora, had cried her little eyes out, sad because her brother would leave and she wouldn't be going for another year. They had all known it was coming, but it didn't make it any easier on them.

Draco placed his hand at his wife's waist as they escorted their children to the platform. He nodded to her, and walked his son through the barrier at King's Cross. Hermione followed with their daughter. For the first time in almost twenty years, the Hogwarts Express stood before them. Nymphadora was in awe.

"Mummy, I'll be going next year, right?" she asked her mother, yanking at her wrist.

"Of course darling." Hermione said assuringly to her daughter.

Draco found Harry and Ginny and their children James, Albus, and Lily. They were joined by Ron and Lavender with theirs, Rose and Hugo.

Lily rushed forward to hug Hermione and greet Nymphadora.

"Dora, we'll be off next year!" she said to her friend.

Hermione smiled as the two girls began to chat.

"Alright there ferret?" Ron asked Draco jokingly.

Draco smiled at the old nickname, and greeted him and Harry while Hermione fussed over Scorpius.

"You have everything you'll need, right?" she asked, straightening his jumper.

"Yes, mum." he groaned. Hermione smiled down at her son. He was the spitting image of his father, gray eyes and white blonde hair. But he had her nose and her freckles.

Hermione kissed her son on his forehead and pulled him in for a hug. "I'm going to miss you. Promise you'll write to me, tell me how everything goes."

"I will, mum. I love you." he said to her.

Draco came in from behind his wife and leaned in for a hug from his son, a teary eyed Nymphadora joining in. Hermione turned to hug James and Albus. James was returning for his second year and Albus was entering his first, as well as Rose. Hugo would not start until next year, with Dora and Lily

"Watch out for all of them, alright?" Hermione said to James. He smiled and nodded, and turned to say his goodbyes to his little sister.

Lavender was crying over Rose, while Hugo clung to Ron. When she released her daughter, Hermione went in for a hug.

All goodbyes were said, and the children boarded the train, finding a compartment to sit together in. Lily and Nymphadora clung to each other and waved goodbye to their siblings with tears in their eyes.

Hermione blew one last kiss to her son before the train jerked as it started to pull away. Draco wrapped one arm around his wife's shoulders and the other around his daughter, who was now clinging to him.

The world was at peace, and Draco and Hermione Malfoy couldn't ask for a happier life together.
