It had been a few weeks since the handsome stranger had come walking through the doors of your bookshop and you had since convinced yourself that there was no way that the man was Matty Healy. Why would a rockstar just come waltzing into a random bookstore in Notting Hill? And besides you didn't follow The 1975 that closely, you were just a casual fan so there was the possibility that you had been wrong. However that possibility became obsolete when the man came into the bookstore for a second time. It was another slow day at the bookshop, the only other people there were you and your flatmate who picked up the occasional shift. You look up when you hear the doorbell chime and are about to greet the customer when you see the incredibly handsome stranger again. "Hello, welcome to Quip and Quill," you say while biting back your smile in hopes of not seeming too eager. The man, who you are now almost certain is Matty Healy, gives you a nod and begins browsing the shelves.

After a while he comes up to the counter you sat behind and places two new books down to buy, a copy of Brave New World and A ClockWork Orange. "Good choices" you say with a nod as you ring up the books. "Oh really? I must be in for a treat since the last one you recommended was bloody brilliant" he replies with a half smile, "Really?" you ask beaming with excitement, "I was hoping you'd like it, Jane Austen is a genius, her novels are timeless" The man nods, "I'd have to agree, it sounded a little feminine but it was good," "What's wrong with feminine?" You challenge, raising an eyebrow as you place bookmarks in the covers of each book. "Oh nothing, I love feminine, in fact, I'll take up your previous offer of telling you how I liked the book, and then we can also discuss how I love all things feminine, Including women" He says with a smirk. "Charming as always...." you trail off, allowing him to tell you his name. The two of you exchange names as you hang him his books, "I'm heading out of town for a couple weeks. How about we meet up and discuss your literary recommendations when I get back?" he asks with a playful smile. "Sure, do you want my number so we can arrange something?" you ask in response, "No, just your insta, it's not as personal, if you don't mind," he says with a sympathetic smile as he hands you his phone to type in your handle. "Doesn't matter to me" you respond with a shrug as you type in the handle. "I've gotta run, I'll add you later, yea?" You nod and smile in response as he hurries out the door.

Later during your shift as you're changing out the flowers on the vase at the front desk you get a notification on your phone.
