Alisa was laying on the floor, surrounded by lit candles and worried vampires. She was struggling, but with what they did not know. Nadja had tried to connect to Alisa, but her mind was covered by a foggy mist that Nadja was unable to penetrate.

"Jeg vet ikke hva jeg syns om dette her. Du kan bli borte. Faren din ville aldri latt deg gjøre det. I don't know what I think about this. You can get lost. Your father would never have let you do it." Inger said.

Even though she understood a couple of the words that were being spoken, Nadja didn't understand what the other Dracas said. The emotion in their voices was however impossible to miss, and Inger's voice revealed worry. Lars was undoubtedly about to do something stupid.

"Inger, hun er en av oss. VI er alle av samme blod. We have to try. Inger, she is one of us. We are all of the same blood."

"Try what?" Ivy urged him.

"She's lost. I have to find her. I need my family to channel as much energy as we can. It is the only way I can enter her mind."

"Have you done this before?" Conte Claudio asked.

"No. It is forbidden. I've only seen my father do it. Once, when I was a child. He was trying to save my mother's life. He almost got trapped inside as she passed."

"Lars, if you lose yourself, you're gone. For eternity. Please, think again." Fanny begged.

A mere glance at Lars' face was enough for Nadja to realise that he would not think again and that even if he did, the same conclusion would be reached.

"Er hun verdt det? Is she worth it?" Inger asked.

"We are doing this."

"Vær... trygg. Be.. safe." Nadja said slowly, trying to find the right words in Norwegian. Inger and Fanny looked over at her, but Nadja only had eyes for the smile her brother sent her.

"What can we do to help you?" The Contessa asked.

"Whatever happens, make sure we do not get interrupted. If she wakes up while I'm still in, her mind could collapse with me in it."

The more Nadja heard, the less she liked the sound of this plan.

"That can be arranged." Said Conte Claudio.

"Okay, I'm ready."

"Lars, you can do this." Ivy said.

"Give them space to work. Put a Shadow at every door. No Heirs in or out. Go."

The Shadows proceeded to get everyone who didn't need to be there out. One attempted to get Nadja out with them, but Lars didn't let them.

"No, she stays. I need her."

The four Dracas put their hands on Alisa and readied themselves. Again, Nadja noticed Inger and Fanny look over at her, but she ignored them. At Lars' command, they all closed their eyes and concentrated. Almost immediately, Nadja heard her brother's voice in her head. It seemed that the connection between them withheld the mist that surrounded Alisa's mind. He was calling out for Alisa, finding her was clearly difficult. Nadja wasn't really sure on how to channel energy, but figured that if she could help Lars directly, that would be easier. She lifted a hand to her temple and focused on him. Her mind was filled with darkness and fog. After some effort, she could visualise a maze through the mist. Oh no, this could be difficult. She had to help him, somehow aid him through the maze. Nadja visualised herself as a torch lighting the way for Lars, hoping this would somehow make a difference. Please work..

"Nadja? Are you here? You just appeared, or your voice did, along with a flaming torch. How did you do that?"

"I honestly have no idea, but this is not the time. Get going now, I want you out of there as soon as possible."
