Chapter 1: False Peace

[3rd POV]

We open to the emptiness of space, a ZAFT drop pod then enters the view, and it was rapidly descending to Earth, the metal of the pod began glowing red from the heat of its entry, we then switch views into one of the ZAFT Mobile Suit, where we see the entire cockpit bathed in a red light, the pilot can be seen wearing a mostly black pliot suit, with some parts being grey, a robotic voice then could be heard saying. "First layer traversed. Decelerate to Mach Four. Trajectory good. Twenty eight seconds until termination of cool stage. Commence aerodynamic control."

The pliot then spoke into their comms, that was connected to the other pilots in the other ZAFT Mobile Suits. "Alpha One. Loaded for bear and burn." The pliot then heard from his comrades, "Bravo Two/ Charlie Three/ Delta Four." The pilot them glance at a picture of his smiling wife, he then quickly looks back up and the screen in front of him and says into comms. "Second layer traversed. We're going to send those filthy surface lovers, screaming into the after." The pliot then looks down at a necklace in his right hand, before looking up and saying into the comms. "Past layer of turbulence." Right as he says that the red glowing light slowly stops and shows that the pliots suit was a mix green and dark green, then the pilot says.

"Deceleration to Mach 0.9." The ZAFT pliot looks down at his console, before saying. "Cooling stage ceased. Altitude good." The view switchs to another ZAFT pliot, the pilot then says into the comms. "May the heavens protect us." The same ZAFT pilot then announced. "Activating programmed decent coordinates." The view the changes to another ZAFT pliot who looks at a photo of him, his wife, and their child. The view switchs back to the first pliot who says. "Here we go!" The view switchs ZAFT pliot while they look a certain objects and say. "For ZAFT." As the drop pod reached Earth's sky the pod splits open and reveals four ZAFT ZGMF-1017 GINN

The four GINNS fall towards the ground, before a feminine voice speaks. "Year 70 of the Cosmic Era. Due to the Bloody Valentine tragedy, tensions between Earth and the PLANTs quickly developed into a full-fledged armed conflict." The scenery changes to show a Moebius firing a torpedo through space and at a space station, causing a large explosion. The scenery changes back to Earth, where bullets from Earth Alliance machinery, can be seen flying at the multiple falling GINNs, while the GINNs returned fire. Some of GINNs get close to the ground and turn on their thrusters, allowing them hover over the ground and to continue shooting at Earth Alliance soldiers. Some Earth Alliance vehicles blow up, before Earth Alliance soldiers destroy the leg of one the GINNs causing it fall to the ground, while the narrator continued.

"No one doubted that the larger Earth forces would be victorious but these early predictions proved to be wrong. Almost eleven months have passed since the war began, with no end in sight. The scene changes to show a somewhat large camp with medics and soldiers in it, while multiple GINNs stood around guarding it.

The scene changes to the inside of an Orb colony, called Heliopolis, a green robotic-like parrot flys into the screen before fly towards the recreational area of the Orb's Technical College, and specifically towards a young girl with short brown hair, and was sitting down, tapping away on her laptop while listening to news. A male news reporter speaks and says. "This refugee camp deep in South Africa has been suffering from a chronic lack of food and medicine, endangering the lives of 1.2 million people." A female news reporter then speaks. "Thank you, now we'll being images from the Kaohsiung front, where heavy fighting is taking place." The green robotic-like parrot then lands on the top of the girls laptop screen and watched the girl, the female reporter then speaks again. "According to the latest reports, from within the city, ZAFT forces have pushed four kilometers..." A hello young masculine voice pulls the girls attention. "Kira!"
