I chewed on the back of my brush, frustration evident on my face. The canvas before me was filled with colors.
Something was missing. It just didn't feel right.
Taking a deep breath, I carefully placed the brush back in its spot and stood up from the chair. I walked around the room, trying to view the painting from different angles, hoping to find the missing piece.
But no matter how many times I looked, it still didn't satisfy me. I was searching for that elusive spark, that magical touch that would bring the painting to life.
"What are you doing?" Peat asked, his voice muffled by the apple he was chewing.
I sighed and replied, "Nothing. It just doesn't feel alright."
Peat raised an eyebrow, his curiosity piqued. "I can't understand what's wrong with this painting. It looks incredible, just like your other masterpieces."
Shaking my head, I replied, "No, it's not that."
Peat leaned closer, his eyes filled with curiosity. "Then what is it?"
A hint of frustration laced my voice as I said, "You wouldn't understand."
Peat rolled his eyes playfully, before saying " Do whatever you want, but not now, We are gonna be late for prom,"
"I'm not interested in going there," I said.
"Shut up, you are coming with me," He answered.

"I'm not sure about this," I answered looking myself in the mirror.
I was wearing a sleek black corset, perfectly tailored to accentuate. The corset hugs my torso, which my waist looks so small.
Around my neck, Thete was a striking silver necklace.
"You look amazing," Peat let out and handed me a black face mask, matching it with my black corset.
The facemask is crafted with precision, featuring intricate patterns and exquisite craftsmanship. It adds a touch of allure while also keeping in line with the current fashion trends.
"You look drop-dead gorgeous, no one can say, You are the same nerd,"
"No one can tell it's me because this mask is hiding half of my face, " I answered as looked myself in the mirror again.
"How about we take revenge on the Boss?" Peat said out of nowhere.
"How?" I asked curious.
"He always teases you, How about you who do the same thing today?" Peat said.

The venue is usually beautifully decorated, with twinkling lights, vibrant colors, and elegant decorations. The atmosphere is buzzing with excitement and anticipation.
I entered the prom with Peat. Everyone is dressed to the nines, wearing stunning gowns and sharp tuxedos. The girls' dresses flow gracefully as they twirl on the dance floor, and the guys look dapper in their suits.
People were dancing, laughing, and having a blast.
There are usually fun activities and entertainment throughout the night, like photo booths, candy stations, and even a prom king and queen announcement.
