ok, so i thought...why not a jewish oc. I've hardly seen any fanfic where the oc is also Jewish like Stan and it would be something interesting to read. To see how they could help each other, given that they have the same culture and customs.

Like Stan, Joanna will also go through the Jewish tradition of maturity. The difference is that for girls, it's not a bar mitzvah, but a bat mitzvah, which means that from that moment on, the girl is religiously responsible for her behaviour. Joanna and Stan have a somewhat slow romance, since they've known each other since they were young. Stan only realises that he likes Joanna in another way when she is attacked inside the it house and leaves with injuries and shortness of breath due to excessive fear of the episode she witnessed alone
The time they're apart from the group is when their relationship develops the most and when Joanna returns Stan's feelings.
