✎..."I want the corner seat!" Wooyoung declared with determination.
"No way, I asked for it first!" San shot back.
"Nuh-uh, I was here before you," Wooyoung insisted.
"Yuh-huh, but I called it first!" San retorted.
The escalating argument reached Yeosang's limit. "Oh my god, Wooyoung! San! Just shut up!" Yeosang snapped, his patience wearing thin. With a frustrated sigh, he grabbed both of them by the arms, his fingers digging in slightly as he pinched them into silence.
"San, just take my seat," Yeosang said, gesturing to the spot he was vacating. He then nudged San into the corner booth with a firm but gentle push. San's face twisted into a pout, but Yeosang's quick, playful kiss on his lips made him blush a deep red. The sight of San's flustered reaction reminded Yeosang of a kitten, especially with the way his ears perked up and his cheeks flushed.
Seonghwa stifled a chuckle as he watched the man across the table squirm, his face flushed red and his voice high with playful protest. The affectionate teasing from his companion was met with a mix of laughter and mock exasperation. While the scene was endearing, a pang of loneliness crept into Seonghwa's chest. Observing the easy camaraderie and warmth between the couple, he felt a sharp reminder of his own solitude. His longing for connection was palpable, though he hesitated to pursue it, still nursing the wounds of past relationships that required ongoing therapy. With a deep, inward sigh, Seonghwa refocused on the menu in front of him, trying to drown out the cheerful banter of those around him and burying his wistful thoughts beneath a veneer of distraction.
Wooyoung stared at the menu with a frown, his eyes darting back and forth as he pouted, "Yuyu, I don't know what to get! It all looks so good." His frustration was evident, and the hint of a whine only made him look more endearing.
Yunho leaned in, brushing a soft kiss against Wooyoung's nose. "Do you know just how adorable you are?" he murmured, his voice low and tender. The affectionate gesture made Wooyoung blush deeply, a shy giggle escaping his lips. His heart skipped a beat, overwhelmed by Yunho's warmth.
With a sheepish smile and a nod, Wooyoung signaled his agreement to Yunho's suggestion. Seonghwa, who was close enough to overhear their exchange, felt a rush of warmth on his cheeks. He watched the intimate moment between the couple, his mind wandering over the tender affection they shared and what it might mean.
Seonghwa's mind, previously preoccupied with distractions, began to wander towards a long-forgotten desire for genuine love and companionship. He imagined the warmth of a tender embrace, the kind that offered both comfort and affection. As he envisioned himself nestled in the arms of a caring and attractive partner, a soft, unspoken smile crept onto his lips. His daydreams, however, led him to an unexpected destination—Hongjoong.
