Seonghwa let out a long, exhausted groan as he collapsed onto the soft cushions of his couch, feeling the weight of the day finally hit him. The familiar embrace of his home wrapped around him like a warm blanket, offering a sense of relief he had been yearning for. After Yunho had dropped him off at his car, Seonghwa had wasted no time in giving the group his address before heading off to tackle his errands.

The first stop had been the office. There, he handed over the recordings and neatly compiled notes to his partner, Ricky, making sure their shared project was moving smoothly. Every detail had to be in place, and Seonghwa had spent a few extra minutes explaining key points, ensuring they were on the same page. With work handled, he moved on to the next task—navigating the bustling market.

Dodging the crowds, Seonghwa meticulously gathered ingredients for the evening's meal, carefully selecting fresh vegetables, tender cuts of pork belly, and other essentials for the night's dishes. His arms grew heavy with bags, especially after he indulged in picking up desserts and a few refreshing drinks to top off the evening. Yet, despite the physical strain, the anticipation of a warm, home-cooked meal and the company of friends fueled him to push through.

Finally, laden with groceries, he made his way back home. As he sank deeper into the couch, he allowed himself a moment to simply breathe, his mind already wandering to the dinner preparations awaiting him. But for now, he relished in the quiet stillness of his home, savoring the peace before the night's chaos began.

Seonghwa stepped into his apartment, the familiar creak of the door easing his tense shoulders as he crossed the threshold one last time after several trips to and from the car. He nudged the door shut with his foot before slipping off his shoes, taking a moment to place them carefully on the shoe rack. His movements were slow, weighed down by the fatigue of the day, but as he turned toward the living room, a faint smile tugged at his lips. The promise of rest called to him.

Dragging his feet across the floor, he finally reached the couch and collapsed into it with a sigh of relief. The soft cushions seemed to cradle him, absorbing the weariness that clung to his bones. He closed his eyes, allowing the quiet stillness of the room to wrap around him like a blanket, his body sinking deeper into the fabric as his muscles began to unwind.

Moments passed in peaceful silence, but then, a familiar weight pressed lightly against his side. Seonghwa chuckled softly as he felt the gentle tap of paws brushing his forehead, pulling him from his momentary escape. Slowly, he opened his eyes to see his cats nestled beside him, their curious eyes watching him as though they had been waiting all day for his return. One settled in the crook of his arm, while the other gazed up at him from the edge of the couch, its tiny nose twitching in contentment.
