Power Ranger SPD Gold Ranger is about Leo a blind SPD cadet who like his teammates and brother has powers. His powers work like Chirrut Îmwe in Rogue One and also like Toph Beifong in ATLA, throughout the story, Leo and his team fight against the Troobian Empire whose leader is Emperor Gruumm.
With the help of Evelyn Bandora the daughter of Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd, Gruumm sends his forces to try to capture Earth, unbeknownst to him she is just using him for her personal gain. As she also has a spy in the SPD, Kat Manx B-squad's head of R&D who is helping her from the inside.
With Leo and a team that is made up of ex-Special Forces, hackers, and black-market dealers try to prove and capture Kat with no one knowing all except Supreme Commander Birdie.
What inspired me to write Power Rangers SPD Gold Ranger?
The inspiration for me to write the story was actually another Power Ranger SPD fanfiction called Power Rangers SPD: Purple Ranger which was written by watertribegirl128 I suggest that you guys go read their story because it's well written and has funny moments with the characters and their OC.
The Cast
As you all know, I recast some of the actors with new ones like Olivia Holt as Syd Drew and Tom Holland as Bridge Carson.
I also recast my original actor who was Nicholas Hoult, and I began to see that he wasn't the right person to play Leo. The reason that I gave in the chapter that I recast him was one of many reasons why I did and that's why I recast him with Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
Along with recasting the other I also recast Monica May with Sofia Carson as Z Delgado in a better way than how I presented Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Leo. That introduced you to the Infamous fourth wall-breaker The Author who used his powers to change Z in the story.
As I have you guys here I have an announcement to make I will be recasting Jack's and Sky's actors.
For Jack, I cast Caleb McLaughlin from Stranger Things I feel that his a good fit with the cast I have, and for Sky, I went for Austin Theory, reasons why, he perfectly fits with the character of Sky, and how he will grow as a character.
