Everybody is panicking, people are getting shot and taken left and right. It was loud. Very loud. The screams and the yelps suffocate the cries and the tears. Mothers we're protecting their children with themselves fearing that they will be taken. Their lives taken.
The hashiras tried to protect the civilians the best they could but they soon realised that they were a main target.
Survivors thought that their only hope would be for the hashira to go find help from other countries and civilisations. So that's what they did. They told the hashira their plan. Some agreed and some did not, but they had to non a less. The nine hashira decided to pair up into twos. But with an odd number one had to stay behind or be on their own. Gyomei decided he would stay and protect the people the best he could untill help arrived.
"It's my duty to help others in need." He stated.
Many resented this but had to agree.
The pairs-
Shinobu + misturi
Rengoku + muichiro
Tengen + Iguro
And finally
Sanemi + giyuu.
To be evacuated in secret without letting the enemies find out, they had to be shipped in containers on boats disguised as shipping compartments.
