"Come on Rhys let's go" Remy whispered so only Rhys could here, both of them quiet walked around the home and went towards the door—Rhys opened the door slowly and it made a really faint creeping noise. Both of them walked towards the backyard to see if anyone has trespassed into their home, they could hear someone talking to someone but they didn't recognise who the person talking was or whom they're talking to, Rhys followed the voice—he could hear it at the gates of his home and he quickly walked towards the gates...holding the blade in his hand—he could see who it was. It was Matteo. Matteo saw Rhys when he was holding the blade, he was running "DAD COME AROUND THE GATES MATTEO IS BACK" Rhys yelled loudly. Rhys was chasing Matteo until he cornered Matteo "Rhys I can explain why I'm here." Matteo begged for him to stay at Remy's family home "what other reason would there be? So you can kill my father or sibling like you did to my mother" Rhys said in an angry tone.
Matteo didn't know what to say, did Remy tell Rhys about what happened which led to Catherine's death??? That was running through Matteo's mind until Rhys started launching his father's blade at him multiple times—Matteo was dodging the strikes and grabbed Rhys and put him in the headlock...then Remy came and saw Matteo do that to his son, his oldest son to his deceased wife's Remy started running towards the pair of them while Matteo had Rhys in a headlock, he pulled out his shotgun and aimed it at Matteo. "Don't you dare hurt my son again. I'm not afraid to end your life like you did to Catherine's." Remy threatened while he still held Matteo at gunpoint, Matteo had a smirk on his face "go on, end my life right in front of your son I'm not scared of death" he said with an evil laughter coming out of his mouth...Remy looked really frightened and had his mouth open because he had shock written all over his face. He wanted to kill Matteo but he wouldn't do that in front of his own son, not even anyone in general.
"Here it is, Matteo, have a good life in hell." Remy said while he loaded his shotgun and shot him in the chest–the shotgun wound left Matteo's blood all over the backyard and some even on Rhys's face. "What are we going to do with his body dad?" Rhys asked while there were tears coming out of Remy's eyes, he killed the person who murdered his deceased wife and he felt a sense of purpose in life.
While Remy was crying, Rhys was having a look for a shovel around the backyard, after finding the shovel he ran back to Matteo's dead body and started digging a hole. "You don't have to do this for me son..." Remy said feeling guilty "I have to dad. I want you to be a free man for the rest of your life, he deserves to die anyway for what he did to mum." Rhys said feeling upset after talking about his mother's death. Rhys kept on digging and digging, for a long time until he made a hole that was big enough to store Matteo's body in. Remy picked up Matteo's legs while Rhys was holding his back until they reached the hole, throwing his body into the ground–Rhys and Remy kept on taking turns on filling the hole back up by pouring soil all on the ground and putting a strip of fake grass along the hole. "Here it is dad, another chapter of our lives without the monster ruining our lives." Rhys said with a smirk on his face while he and his father were finishing up burying Matteo alive. "Where are we going to put the shovels??" Rhys questions while having a look of fear in his face..."We'll store them in the shed, follow me Rhys." Remy answered while both of them were walking towards the shed. Both of them put their shovels in the shed, locked it and walked inside the front of the house, they heard someone knocking on the door. Remy had a feeling that he should open the door and he acted on his subconscious mind; he saw this charming woman who reminded him of his wife. How could it be Catherine if she's been dead for so long??? Remy thought to himself while tears streamed out of his face "are-are you sure this is you Catherine? -" Remy said, stuttering while he was wiping tears off his face.
"Yes it is me Remy, I'm sorry for leaving you all those years ago I'll explain it later. You and our children are my family. How could I ever leave all of you." Catherine apologised while Remy and her leaned closer together and started kissing each other, "we shouldn't do this in front of our children—" Remy tried backing out from kissing Catherine. Catherine and Remy couldn't keep their lips off each other, they've finally been reunited after being trapped away from each other for so long. All of a sudden while the pair of them were kissing each other, Rhys and Samuel started walking towards the front door to see why the door hadn't been closed for so long—they finally saw their mum. Samuel and Rhys started running to their parents and gave both of them a hug. Remy, Catherine, Rhys and Samuel started crying while they were giving each other a bear hug and didn't worry about closing the door...they were in the moment after they've been reunited with Catherine after so long, the family hugged each other for a really long time...the family was complete with Catherine coming back into their lives.
"I'm going to be back, going for a walk." Rhys said while he opened the front door and started going outside. The clouds were turning really grey and the sky was foggy—it looked extremely miserable when Rhys was going for a walk. Rhys walked up the road towards the local park near his house, he kept on walking until he saw Roman. Roman and Rhys ran towards each other and gave each other a hug "sorry for not contacting you in a while Roman I've been really busy with stuff." He apologised "hey it's ok everyone gets busy sometimes' ' Roman forgave, he held Rhys's hand and headed straight towards the footpath near the park. The two guys leaned their heads close to each other and went closer every second passing, Rhys and Roman missed each other. Roman went to sit on Rhys's lap and started kissing him, Rhys started kissing him back—what they didn't know was that they were being watched by somebody...Rhys was looking around everywhere and felt like he was being followed by somebody and a twig snapped. "Roman, get down I'll handle this." Rhys sighed and pulled out his shotgun—he didn't want Roman to become scared of him but he knew their safety was more important than Roman being scared of him.
