Where were you?

This is a poem I wrote when I was.. 11 I think. In 2009. Me being the little depressed person I was. Decided I should have a depressing poem :)

*Where were you?*

Memories haunt my dreams.

Yeah, the place where no on can hear my screams.

Dark and terrifying.

Inside, I think I'm dying.

No ones here to help me through.

Where are you?

Alone again..

Where were you when I needed a friend.

Tormented lies

And pain filled eyes.

This is basically me.

I've helped you along the way.

And you haven't helped through one day.

I just think it's unfair.

But deep down,

I always knew you didn't care.

A tiny tear escapes my eye.

While I just wonder why.
