The stress that was pulling on my left shoulder was provoking me to be impatient.

"Enter already." I groaned, while repeatedly abusing the 'enter'  button on the half-broken keyboard; for it was not working at the speed that I needed it to.

I was a moment away from just turning to the 'On-Screen Keyboard' as an alternative because it took me at least fifteen minutes to get the letters to work and show on the screen as they should.

Especially this 'E' key.

But, personally...the laptop was still in good condition to use. There was only a slight glitch bar that ran horizontally across the display, and of course, the keys were processing slower than usual, but it has been a problem for as long as I can remember, and I was able to endure these minor issues.

Not much endurance right now, since I needed answers.

It was a miracle to still find it present in my office after the break-in and destruction, though. When I got to it yesterday, it was untouched, after everything else appeared to have been misplaced by someone who came in after I left on my way to find Alex that day.

Thousands upon thousands of websites with their attached links popped up after my search finally went through. I fixed my glasses above my nose for a clearer view, scrolling to decipher which one had precisely what I was looking for.

I skimmed past everything in less than two minutes, and I was not successful. I even glanced through 'images' to see if even a picture would appear since usually they had links connected to them, but I still bumped into a dead end.

Celebrities and individuals who did something significant, and had a name that was similar to Devante or his last name Riley, were the only things I was seeing.

Nothing in 'articles', nothing in 'news'.

I wonder if he is even on the Internet.

Lucian mentioned that to him, this white-haired criminal as well as his...partner in this case, Zayne, were top-tier convicts, so there has to be some data on him somewhere; assumably.

I glimpsed at the yellow sticky note that was pressed against my keypad curiously.

Zayne Mitchell.

"M...i...double ll," I recited quietly.

In five seconds or less, the complete opposite happened. Everything about Zayne came up on many websites. Wikipedia, biographies, and even a summary of his 'persona' in a yellow box. On the side of it, was a picture of Zayne himself—at a red carpet event—formally dressed in a black-on-black suit.

Nobody would even care to think that he's a disgusting criminal.

It seems as if Zayne is more well-known than Devante, but if that's the case, why is it that the other takes the most action during their criminal endeavors?
