Till death do us apart{Sova&Sage}ONESHOT

Encounter

Sage retreated to a safe place while reloading her gun as she took critical damage from the enemy team. As she was trying to find a good timing to peek one of them, one of the shock bolt landed on her body as it took her life instantly. She was speechless and soon turned into anger as there is only one Sova that could do that which is in her team fortunately. "What was that for, Alex? Is this how you do your job? by killing your own team?", Sage furiously glared at him as her team tried to calm her down. "Sage, I missed one of my lineups and you happened to be there. It wasn't my fault as you should've seen that coming, " Sova cleaned his dart shamelessly as Sage was fuming with anger. Before she could do anything, someone interrupted her. "What's with the fuss over here? We have a meeting to attend now. We have a new info from fade regarding the new place." Brimstone entered the meeting room along with the agents present as Sage bumped Sova's shoulder purposely.

"Alright agents. We have watched the clip from Fade. Now we just have to send a team to investigate the new place called Lotus. Some of you will be chosen to be in a team together. Sage will be in charge. "the agents nodded in respect as they dismissed from the meeting room. Sage was walking back to her room when she was approached by the one and only russian man, Sova. "Look sage, I apologi-" "Hey Sage, wassup! Wanna go for a snack? Jett's on it! ", Pheonix pointed towards Jett who was rolling her eyes. "Oh hey Sova! Care to join us? ", Jett nudged Sova with a smile. "I would love to but I have to practice my lineup, " Sova walked away after giving Sage a glance. Sage was confused but followed Jett and Pheonix as they went to their favorite restaurant. They enjoyed a delightful snacks meanwhile Sova sat down in the training room with his buddy, Omen.

"You should just confront her and apologize like a man, Alex. I think she would like a straightforward guy. At least that's what I think her type is, " Omen shrugged while hugging his knees as Sova spaced out trying to think of an idea to confront his love interest who is currently not in a positive relationship with him at the moment because of his pride. "I did tried to apologize to her in person but I was interrupted by the extrovert duos. Had they not been there, I would have had her in my arms right now, " Sova hanged his head low feeling unmotivated." I think you still have a long way to go for that stage. " Omen patted his shoulder. "Why don't you try to put an apology letter on her doorstep since the first plan didn't really work out for you? Maybe she would acknowledge it and your relationship with her will be better now. " Omen continued to give ideas to his best buddy who is lost in thoughts.

"I will try doing that, thank you Omen. You are the best buddy I've ever gotten " Sova patted his shoulder and make his way to his room where as Omen blushed feeling shy from the sudden compliment he gained from his buddy. Sova quickly sat down on his desk with a blank paper and wrote out his hidden feelings.

Dear Sage,

     I have come to a conclusion that writing an apology letter is a good choice as facing you head on would be a bit difficult for someone like me. Thus, I wanted to apologize for killing you unintentionally. I know you would not believe me but I really have no purpose to kill you there. It's up to you to believe it or not but I have done my part and I hope you would give me a chance to make up for it. Do meet me at my room if you have decided.

Sova placed the letter gently on Sage's doorstep and sneak away and hide on the corner near her room. A few moments of waiting, Sage could finally be seen walking to her room with a pleasant smile. She picked up the letter out of confusion and entered her room making Sova sighed in relief. He went back to his room and waited patiently as he was nervous the result would be something he didn't expect at all or at least he pretend to be. Sage couldn't help but smiled as she folded the letter nicely and wrote another letter for the russian man.
