The atmosphere in the Giordano household became a cauldron of tension as Leo walked in on a conversation that would shatter the semblance of family unity. Marco, perhaps misjudging Leo's reaction, outlined a sinister plan that involved Leo as a central figure.

Leo's eyes widened in disbelief, confusion transforming into fury. "You're planning what? You think I'll be a part of this? Let alone hurt the women I actually care for? Are you out of your damn mind?'

As Marco explained the twisted scheme, Leo's anger intensified, reaching a point where he couldn't contain it any longer. "You all are sick. Planning to hurt Corinna? My Corinna? Over my dead fucking body!'

The room echoed with the clash of conflicting ideals. Francisco, unmoved by his son's outburst, callously remarked, "She's just a pawn in this game, Leonardo . Nothing more."

Leo, his rage boiling over, retaliated, "Don't you dare reduce her to a pawn! She's not just a girl; she's the love of my life, and I won't let any of you lay a finger on her let alone look at her"

The argument escalated into chaos, with Leo threatening not only to leave the family but also to unleash a storm of vengeance if they dared harm Corinna. "I'll make it clear for you dumb motherfuckers to understand . If any of you cross her path, look at her, breathe the same air as her , say her name or even try to come for her family I swear on my life I'll fucking blow all of your brains Out no hesitation . I'm not playing either'

Francesco, angered by Leo's defiance, scoffed, "You're just a young fool in love, Leonardo. You don't see the bigger picture."

Leo, undeterred, shot back with unbridled fury, "I'd rather be a fool in love than part of a family that would harm the woman I cherish. You all mean nothing to me if you can't see her worth."

As Leo stormed out, leaving the Giordano household in disarray, the echoes of his impassioned defense of Corinna lingered, marking a point of no return in the family's twisted dynamics.

The relentless drumming of rain against the windows served as a backdrop to the ominous knock on the door. Cautiously, I approached, the taught instincts instilled by my father urging me to proceed with caution. Clutching my gun, I peered through the peephole, revealing a drenched Leo, his usually warm demeanor eclipsed by a storm of emotions.

His eyes locked onto mine as I slowly opened the door, raindrops glistening on his dark hair. Without a word, he entered, and I closed the door behind him. The tension in the room mirrored the tempest outside, and Leo's expression spoke volumes before he uttered a single word.

"Corinna," he said, his voice heavy with a mixture of fury and desperation. "I can't believe what they're planning. I won't let anything happen to you."

His embrace was fierce, as if seeking solace and grounding in the midst of a turbulent revelation. Pulling back slightly, I met his intense gaze, his brown eyes clouded with anger and concern.

"Leo, what happened? What did they say?" I asked, the gravity of the situation settling between us like an unspoken truth.

He sighed heavily, his hand running through his wet hair. "They've got this twisted plan, involving me as some sort of pawn. I lost it, Corinna. I couldn't stand there and let them talk about hurting you. I won't allow it."

The chill down my spine intensified, and I held him tighter, a silent promise to weather whatever storm awaited us. "Leo, we'll figure this out. We can't let them tear us apart."

His expression softened, hands cupping my face. "I won't let anything happen to you, Corinna. I love you too much. We're in this together, no matter what."
