“hey.” jisung greeted, slightly nervous as he stood in front of the male and his three cats.

“wow, you’re still very hot.”

jisung glared at minho, who smiled as soonie jumped off his lap.

“okay. look, my knowledge, it reaches a thousand percent.” jisung spoke, trying to convince minho that it did so, “now, i’ll name all of your cats accurately.” he declared, crouching down in front of the three cats, who moved closer to him, purring and rubbing their faces against his hands and legs.

“they already like you.” minho chuckled, finding the affection between jisung and his cats sweet.

“obviously.”

“you’re still, how should i say this..? bold and expressive in public.”

jisung looked at minho quickly with his eyes slightly widened before he looked back down at the cats.

“to be fair, i’m trying to put up a confident facade. so thanks for the confirmation that it’s working.” jisung shrugged, content with what minho currently thinks about him.

“ah, okay, no problem.” minho mumbled, nodding his head as jisung thought about the cats’ names.

“that’s soonie for sure.” jisung spoke, pointing to the cat with the most ginger fur that sat on minho a while earlier.

minho nodded, giving acceptance to jisung’s answer.

“then that’s dori.” jisung uttered, pointing to the other ginger and white cat, “then doongie.” he finished, pointing to the brown cat.

“not really, no.” minho sighed as he mumbled, shaking his head, “i expected you to get doongie and soonie mixed up, but instead, you got dori and doongie wrong.”

“oh, did i?” jisung exclaimed, looking at the cats again, “oh… so the brown one is dori, not doongie.” jisung spoke, correcting his answer’s and getting a nod from minho.

jisung stood up, sighing and pressing his lips together.

“what should we do?” jisung questioned with a mutter, crossing his arms as minho also stood up.

“we could just go on a walk if you want, that is.” minho offered, eliciting a nod from jisung, “do you want to walk one of them?”

“can i?” jisung exclaimed, smiling and reaching out a hand.

minho hummed, giving one of the leashes to jisung.

“i'll take them off the leashes soon, i don't think they prefer it.” minho admitted as the cats led them through the park.

“that's fine, you can do it now if you really think they can't stand it.” jisung spoke, smiling gently.

minho shook his head, “it's alright, i know they can last twenty minutes at least.”

minho and jisung strolled through the park in silence for a few minutes

“i didn't expect you to look like that if i have to be honest.” jisung uttered, peeking over at minho again.

“did you see me often in university?” minho laughed, thinking about earlier texts between them.

“rarely… but yeah, i did.” jisung muttered, putting his hand in his pocket.

“what did you think i looked like?” minho inquired, tilting his head.

jisung looked at minho again, carefully inspecting his face before answering;

“i don't know, honestly. but you don't look half as bad.” jisung replied with a lingering hum.

“that's fine, thanks.” minho thanked, nodding his head gently.

“you look better in person, to be fair.”

“do i?”

“if i've seen your collarbones again, then i'd be content.”

“which means?”

“ah, nothing, you look good.”

“isn't that… you're saying you want to smash?”

minho looked over at jisung with a smile, confirming it as jisung sighed.

“menace…” jisung admitted, rolling his eyes.

“anyway… i might as well take the three of their leashes.” minho commented, walking over to the bench nearby and kneeling down.

“won't they run away?” jisung questioned with a light curious frown.

“not really, they like to be close, honestly. and at the same time they're not outdoor cats, so they won't know where to go.” minho explained, letting the three cats free.

“oh, okay.” jisung muttered as minho took the leash from him.

“alright, let's continue walking.” minho continued as he stretched his arms.

·

“do the demons still get you?” jisung questioned after they've walked for a long while, having meaningless conversations.

“maybe… i think they do…” minho uttered, licking his lips.

“maybe?”

“i try going to sleep earlier, i don't know.”

“ah, is that so?” jisung nodded, getting a nod from minho, too.

“when are you going?” jisung continued, seeing they were out for about an hour or more and it was starting to get dark in addition to that.

“huh? ah… right, i might make my way home, i have things to do.” minho mumbled, pouting as he thought about it.

“yeah?” jisung sighed, “alright, same, i have a project due next week.” he concluded.

“good luck with it, bye.” minho chuckled, bidding jisung goodbye as he smiled.

“thanks, bye!” jisung returned a smile, waving minho goodbye.
