The Shadow's Hunger: Unveiling the True Demise

Prologue

 A couple walks into a spa. They check in and separate. The young man follows a young woman down the hallway and into a white room. "Lay down," the woman says, "and relax." The young man relaxes and lets the woman get to work. The man closes his eyes as the woman gets to work on his back. "That feels great," he says.

Eventually the young man falls asleep. As the man sleeps, the woman carefully starts to feed on his fat. Her tongue comes out and it sucks up the extra fat on his body. Unable to control her hunger, she sucks all of the man's fat out, killing him. "Damn it," she murmurs, "I didn't mean to kill him. Let's dispose of his body." She gets up and drags the man's body into a different room. "I'll be right back. I need to grab a trash bag." She leaves the room, returning a few minutes later with a trash bag. She puts the man's body in the bag and drags him out to a dumpster. After putting him in the dumpster, she goes back inside.

A few hours later the man's body is found by a young woman. She calls the police. "Hello," she says, "will you please send some police officers to the Daybed Spa? Well, I found a dead body. Wait here? Okay, thank you."

At the police station, the officer who'd answered the phone goes to talk to the sheriff. "Sheriff?" he asks, "There's been a murder at the Daybed Spa. A body was found in the dumpster."

"Alright, "I'll call Thomas," Kara answers.
