"U ready" booka said grabbing my bag I shook my head he helped me up off the bed and to the car
"u got chu purse" he said "no I forgot" I said he walked back into the house and got my bag and give it to me
"u hungry u ain't eat nun since u got here" zoo said "nah" I said laying my head on the window I closed my eyes as soon as I started to have flashbacks
I opened my eyes i haven't slept yet fr I'm tired and hate closing my eyes we got to a Wendy's "just get her a drink and nuggets" zoo said "let me get 2 4 for 4s" booka said
——— I woke up to the sound of the car turning off "come on" booka helped me out the car they knocked on the door and opened it
"yo she here" some light skin boy yells durk came from around the corner "wsp baby" he said hugging "hey" I say India and rue walked up to me
"hey girl" rue said as she kissed my forehead "so what u want to see first we going everything u desire" durk said smiling
"yeh show me around" I said "we gon take yo stuff upstairs" rue said as her and India walked up the stairs he walked me around
I felt a wave of sadness cross me I turned and hugged him quickly silently crying into his shirt
"u good now u ain't going nowhere" he said hugging me and picks me up like I was still 5 years "I'm scared" I cried
"I promise she ain't gon take u from me again" he said Hugging me tightly
"I'm tired of hurting like my body still hurts the scars ain't going away I can't stop thinking about it" I cried
"listen this what me rue and India here for to show u what love is and how a father and mother love they child I got chu ok" he hugged me tightly
I shake my hand and smiles as he put me down "come on so rue and India can show u yo room" he said leaning me to the stairs rue and India took my hands slowly helping me walk up the stairs
I grunted in pain in my legs "come on we almost here" rue said we made it up stairs I looked around seeing toys and a big ass tv in living room upstairs
I ain't never been in a house make this "damn this house big asl oh my bad" I said realizing I just cussed "u good you're aloud to cuss" India said while rue chuckled
"this dd and ddot then notti room" India said I nodded "sky and willow room on this side of the hall" rue said "and your is a door down from willow room"rue said as India opened the door
I walked into the room it's so big (it's not that big) I hugged them both
"we ain't doing nothing yet because we don't know what u like so after u heal some we could go out looking for some things for your room" India said
I sat on the bed still taking in the house and this big ass room "if there's anything u need just call ok" India said as rue handed me the remote
I laid down on my back taking in the silence and slowly felt myself fall asleep ——— I Hear a bang sound in my dream made me jump out my sleep caused more pain in my rib I held my side in pain "u straight" durk said rushing over to me
"I'm fine" I said "come on so we can get chu some ice" he said picking me up "I'm not a baby" I rolled my eyes "yeah u not but u still my baby" he said as he carried me downstairs
sat me on the couch I avoided eye contact with whoever was in there "here u go left your shirt up" India said putting two ice packs on my rib rue tired to gave me to pills
"what's that" I said looking at her "ibuprofen I promise" she said with a smile I my tired of being in pain so I took them "notti dd and ddot" rue yelled from inside
"ma why u yellin" dd said "cause y'all act like y'all can't hear" I saw three lightskin boys sit on the couch "nani this notti dd and ddot" rue said i did an awkward face not wanting to say anything
"wsp" ddot said wanting to shake my hand I shook his hand "u pretty asl lil sis" notti said smiling "lil sis is crazy I'm pretty sure I'm older den all yall" I chuckle as three boys stood infront of me
"how old u is" dd said "15" "we the same age" dd said dapping me up ddot and notti suck they teeth "I'm guessing y'all bout 14" i say
"yeah" notti said "not y'all thinking yall was older den me" I said didn't walked off and brought me a plate of food back
"I know u ain't been eatin like that but we gon make sho u straight" dont said sitting by me dd sit infront of me and notti sat on the other side showing comfort to me
it smelled good but would my stomach take it I thought to myself I took a bit of chicken and damn near thought I touched god
"boy dis hoe smack how made dis" i said "I did" India smiled handing dd and ddot a plate "damn ma where my plate" notti said rubbing his stomach
"don't worry my sis gon share" notti said reaching for my plate I smacked his hand "Damn I was playin" he said rubbing his hand
"hell nah u was forreal" I side eyed him durk handed notti is plate "what's wrong wit chu" durk said "she just smack my hand" he said
"nigga u tried to put yo hand in her plate fat ass" ddot said "den that's yo fault" durk laughed and sat on the couch with India and rue I was fucking dat food up
I wasn't paying attention "Nani baby u want to pick a movie" rue said "huh oh" I said realizing she was talking to me "fucking dat shit up" dd said
"I said u want to pick a movie" rue repeated I nodded and picked a movie I think I might like it here
