The picture up top is of the castle on the hill, FYI, it is a castle in Romania, sorry there are no good castles in Colorado so I had to improvise.

We pulled up to the front of the castle.
"Hello, Miss Fright? I am Miss Frioc. I will be your dorm mate and best friend." a girl with midnight black hair, pale skin and green eyes. She looked about my age and wasn't one of those preppy people either. Maybe I could be best friends with her.
"If you don't mind me asking, why are you calling me and your self miss. Why not say your name and my name?" I asked. "Well, here at this school it is very refined and proper. Part of that is not calling each other our first names in the presence of others except for family and in our case best friends." she explains looking at the driver. Then I got it. It was because of the driver. So maybe when we got inside our room we could talk like normal people.
"So shall I get my bags and we can retire to our room, it is almost sunrise and this school runs on a nocturnal schedule I believe." I ask. The old fashioned talk sounded perfect. It rolled off my tongue. "Yes, that is quite a refreshing idea, it has been a rather long day."
We took my bags and went inside the majestic castle. It was very grand. The stair cases and the big windows, it as all very pleasing. Exactly what you would expect from a castle. "If I may ask, how many students attend this school?" I asked. "I believe, 20 students. Ten girls and ten boys." she replied. I guess we are all paired up. The thought brought a smile to my cheeks. I could hear quiet music. The moonlight sonata.
We got up to our room, I must say. It was more like the presidential suite more than a dorm room. There was a living room and kitchen. Then a few doors going out from this main area. Miss Frioc walked over to one door. "This is the bathtub bathroom. the other two bathrooms only have a shower. This is my bedroom and bathroom," she points out motioning to the next door. "And this is your room." she held her hand out to point me in. The room was breath taking to say the least.
It had a black canopy bed with black bedding. It had black curtains and grey carpet. The walls were perfect. A simple grey to match the carpet. A dresser was in one part and all if it was beautiful. The hard part was coming to except the fact that it was all mine.
