(WARNING! THIS CHAPTER CONTAINS GORY, GRUESOME SCENES, AND LOTS OF BLOOD, READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!)

It was very rare... the times Riki would be exceptionally nice, and seem human.  It was very rare...

But Rowan gets the reality check, like a slap to her face, when she sees him walking trough the midnight rain, drenched in rain water and crimson, thick red blood as he dragged the warm corpse through the alleyway.

"Get in the car. Ill take care of this rat." Riki coldly spat at his wife, who was drenched in the cold rain water. Her white dress clean and translucent compared to her husband's bloody attire... A guard slipped a jacket onto her as she took a seat inside the car which drove off.

Riki grabbed the shovel as he stared down at the dying man. "Do you know what happens to pesky rats that live off of my gold like a parasite?!..." Riki asked coldly, his eyes lacking any sort of emotion, the shovel in his hand prodding at the body, as he smirked.

"How about I show you instead?" Riki used the large shovel and hit him painfully harshly on the stomach, an instant dark flow of blood releasing from the lifeless man's mouth, and then Riki used the shovel to gently tap the man's chin.

"You think you can get away with stealing gold from me?!..." Riki asked as he stabbed the shovel right into his neck, he did so a few times, the floor stained with blood as the head rolled away.

His men knew what to do, clearing the crime scene, bribing off pathologists and officers, though they wouldn't need to do so as it took just his name to silence them. The guards slipped off his shirt and coat off, using a towel to dry off the blood, as the rain helped him in the act, after doing so, he slipped a new shirt onto Riki.

. . .

Riki stepped out of his rom, now freshly clean, the stench of blood replaced with his usual sweet scent, as he wore clean comfortable clothes. He walked down to the living room, only to find that Rowan was sitting on the sofa, silently scrolling through her phone.

The male sat on another sofa, as he switched through the channels on the TV. Rowan glanced at him. The blood-painted, psychopathic demon no more... instead, an undeniably handsome man, with the perfect plump lips that anyone would die for, his new hair cut, styled a little messily, and his mesmerizing eyes focused on the TV.

God he looked so... sweet, so handsome... so... innocent... was that seriously the same man who was quite unbothered about beheading a 40 year old thief?

"A picture would last longer little girl" Riki said, his eyes never leaving the TV "Is that the only phrase you handsome men know?" The girl asked, tilting her head.

"Wow that's the first compliment I heard from you since we got married..." Riki stated as Rowan rolled her eyes. 'Well for a blood-thirsty psycho like you, isn't having a wife enough' Rowan thought to herself.

Rowan felt the laser-like glare from him, that calm face replaced with that psychopathic look he has when dealing with his victims. "Psycho you say?..." Riki darkly said as he made her way to her.

She may have thought out a little too loud... he pulled her up and yanked her hair back so she was looking directly into his eyes.

"Is someone getting a little too comfortable around me?!... are you forgetting that you had murdered someone too?! You think I do shit like that just for fun?!... if my hands weren't so stained with fucking blood. You and I will be left to die on the streets, being eaten alive by stray cats. Be Grateful you whore." Riki spat as he let go of her, and went to the kitchen to go eat.

God he was so goddamn annoying, Rowan hated it when he tries to make her seem so weak and vulnerable, like a lost puppy that trails after him. But he's not done there yet...

Riki peacefully at his dinner, which Rowan had cooked for him, as he went through some issues with Sunghoon. "That fucking Antonio Sica keeps getting on my nerves, wants me to sign a deal with him to help his trafficking ring, tell me what dirt you can find on him, I need to get rid of that rat." Riki finally added as Sunghoon nodded.

Rowan left the house with Riki, no words were spoken, as he simply told her to follow him. His car drove to a rather peculiar destination. Compared to his luxury car and Prada suit, the neighbourhood he parked his car in was filled with ordinary people, normal, homely houses, a place where people were just trying to get by their lives.

He parked his car as he opened the door for you "Follow me." he simply commanded, as Rowan did so. The man made his way to one of the houses, knocking on the door. The wait was short lived, as a woman in her 50s, who was looking rather dishevelled, answered the door.

"Oh s-sir?... come in- I wasn't expecting you sorry- our house is a little messy-" The woman kindly greeted as she let the 2 in, Rowan immediately recognised the photo that hung on the wall, followed by other photos of people who had passed.

Her suspicions came true when she saw 3 younger ladies come to the living room, a 21 year old, a 15 year old and a 7 year old. It was the man with 3 daughters that Riki had killed.

"This is my wife... Rowan say hi-" Riki said as she introduced herself. Rowan felt so ashamed to be there, her husband was sitting in the very house where he had murdered the father of 3 girls, and a loving husband.
