TRUTH OR DARE (2)

“YOU okay? You've been zoning out for minutes now.” Gene pointed out as she looked at his older brother.

“Nothing...” Jungwon sighed, forcing a smile. The truth is, he was bothered. After the truth or dare game, his classmates start teasing him with Jay. He can still remember the time when one of his classmates asked him if he's dating Jay. He was petrified at that time, he doesn't know how they came up with that kind of conclusion.

Shaking his head, then he headed to his room, hesitating whether he's gonna call the other or not.

“Whatever, let's just get over it..” He said, then he took his phone and opened the messenger app, looking for the other's name and decided call him..

“Hey...” He started when Jay answered the phone. “Oh hi, what's up?”

“I just wanna ask you something..”

“Yeah sure, what is it?”

His voice was calm, and there's no hint of confusion in it. Jungwon cleared his throat, then decided to bring up the issue.

“You know...about the pairing thingy? Are you really okay with it?” He asked, clearly worried.

“Cause you know, it's actually fine for me If I get paired up with others because I know that it's just for fun, but this is different. You don't seem like the guy who's into this kind of things. I'm worried that you'll get bothered or irritated because of it.”

He bit his lips in nervousness as he waited for the other's response.

“Ah? I don't really mind. I know that it's all just a joke, you don't have to worry about it.”

Jungwon's eyes widened as he sighed in relief. “Really?”

“Yeah, although it can be quite bothering sometimes because we always get called out whenever we interact with each other.”

“That too, I kinda feel regretful now..” Jay's right, even just a small interaction between them, and when one of their classmates saw it, they try to make a big deal of it.

“Unexpected things do happen sometimes. So just let them be..”

“Yeah, I think you're right...”

“Right? Also, it's your fault in the first place, so you must take responsibility for it..” Jay chuckled as he joked to break the serious atmosphere between them.

“Stop, you're not helping..” Jungwon said as he also let out a chuckle.

This doesn't feel bad.

“OUR jungwon is finally here!” Sunoo exclaimed, smiling widely at him.

“What's up?” Jungwon asked, with a small smile plastered on his face.

“Jay wants you to help him on his assignment...”

“What assignment? Do we even have one?” He asked in confusion. He doesn't remember their teacher giving them one.

“You didn't know?” Riki asked in disbelief.

“Ms. Manoban gave us an essay assignment yesterday.” Hyunjin spoke.

“I don't remember her giving us one..”  Jungwon said as he frowned. He was totally bewildered, he didn't remember their teacher giving the assignment.

“Here's mine, you take a look..” Jay said, as he handed him his paper.

“I thought you needed help on this assignment?” Jungwon asked as he took the paper from him.

“They're just joking...” Jay sighed.

He decided to read the paper and as he read, his brows started frowning.
It's an essay about the teenage pregnancy that Jay wrote. He couldn't help but cursed when he finished reading.

“An essay about teenage pregnancy? That's our assignment all about?” He asked, a bit worried since Ms. Manoban is their first subject teacher.

“Yes..” They said.

Jungwon sighed, then he sat on his seat, then starts pulling out his pen and paper to start writing. When he was about to write something, everyone laughed, catching him off-guard.

“What??” He asked in confusion.

When his classmates didn't answer, he raised his eyebrow as he looked at Jay, who's chuckling while looking at him.

A bad feeling arose inside him.

“They're just messing with you..” Felix  chuckled.

“Messing..? No way?” He frowned, then he looked at Jay's work, “Then this...??”

“Sorry, it's an old work of mine..” Jay said then chuckled.

“So there's no assignment??” Jungwon asked. Everyone shook their head then laughed.

“And you guys think it's funny?” Jungwon asked sarcastically, raising his eyebrow at them.

“It was Jay's idea..” Heeseung pointed at Jay, and everyone looked at the latter. “It wasn't my idea” Jay defended himself, as he looked at Jungwon.

“It was yours, you told us to prank Jungwon” Heeseung said, grinning cheekily. “Stop, I didn't say that..” Jay shook his head then chuckled.

“Well, you guys caught me off-guard..” Jungwon rolled his eyes jokingly. “He actually looks so confused” Yeji stated as she laughs.

“Yeah, it was fun~” Han joked.

“Tch..” Jungwon squint his eyes at Jay, and the other just mouthed 'Sorry' to him, but there's a little bit of amusement in his eyes.

WHEN their class have ended, Jungwon headed out to get a snack, while walking, one of his classmates named Jeongin came to him.

“Jungwon, I have a question..” Jeongin said, looking at him teasingly.

“What is it?” He asked back.

“Do you like Jay?” Jeongin asked, smiling at him. Quite surprised by his question, Jungwon shook his head, “Romantically? No..”

“But what if Jay actually likes you?”

“That ain't gonna happen” Jungwon said, then shrugged.

“Would you accept him if ever he tries to court you?” Jungwon looked at the boy next to him in confusion.

“IF I happened to have feelings for him, then sure..” he said, emphasizing the word 'If'. “Okay, but do you think he's attractive??”

“Yeah? I mean, he is very attractive and we're all aware of that.” He stated. Jeongin grinned at him, “Okay!”

“Okay?” Jungwon repeated, watching the other walking swiftly.
