Diagon Alley
[The next day, in the streets of London. Anna and Hagrid are in the underground tube.]
Anna: [reading the list] First year students will require: three sets of work robes, one wand. [She turns to Hagrid.]
Hagrid: Essential bit of equipment, Anna.
Anna: One pair of dragon-hide gloves. [She turns to Hagrid again] Hagrid, do they mean for a real dragon?
Hagrid: Well, they don't mean a penguin, do they? Heh. Crikey, I'd love a dragon.
"Me, too." Said Barty and looked at Evan.
"No, Barty. You're not getting a dragon!" Said Evan. Barty pouted and turned toward Regulus.
"I agree with Evan." Said Regulus. Barty pouts more.
"Come on! It would be so cool. Imagine having Dragon." Said Barty.
"No." Said Regulus sternly. Barty sighted while Evan nodded at Regulus gratefully. Everyone watched exchange amused.
Anna: You'd like a dragon?
Hagrid: Vastly misunderstood beasts, Anna. Vastly misunderstood. [He suddenly eyes a woman and then he nods. The woman returns to reading her paper. The next scene, Hagrid and Anna are walking down the streets.]
Anna: All students must be equipped with... one standard size 2 pewter cauldron and may bring, if they desire, either an owl, a cat, or a toad. Could we find all this in London?
"If you know where to go." Said Lily.
Hagrid: If you know where to go. [They walk towards a corner store and as they get closer, the sign above it has "The Leaky Cauldron" magically appearing. They enter the Leaky Cauldron. There was music and several patrons that are speaking to each other.]
Tom: Ah, Hagrid! The usual, I presume?
Hagrid: No thanks, Tom. I'm on official Hogwarts business today. Just helpin' young Anna here buy her school supplies.
Tom: Bless my soul. It's Anna Potter! [The pub immediately goes silent and everyone notices. A man comes up and shakes Anna's hand.]
Everyone looks shocked.
"I have never seen pub this silent." Said James amazed.
"Why is she so famous?" Asked Lily.
Man: Welcome back, Ms. Potter. Welcome back. [A witch comes up and shakes Anna's hand, as well.]
Witch: Doris Crockford, Ms. Potter. I can't believe I'm meeting you at last. [A man in robes with a turban on his head appears. It is Professor Quirrell.]
Quirrell: Anna P-potter. C-can't tell you how p-pleased I am to meet you.
Hagrid: Hello, Professor. I didn't see you there. Anna, this is Professor Quirrell. He'll be yer Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts.
"This idiot is gonna teach DADA?" Said Sirius.
"That's rude. He might be a good teacher." Said Lily.
"How? Children won't understand half the things he says." Said Remus.
"And he looks like his own shadow might scare him." Added James.
Anna: Nice to meet you. [puts out her hand, offering a handshake with Quirrell. But he looks at Anna's head and hesitatingly refuses.]
Regulus eyes Quirrell suspiciously.
Quirrell: F-fearfully f-fascinating subject. N-not that you need it, e-eh, Potter? Heheh.
Hagrid: Yes, well, mus' be goin' now. Lots to buy. Heh-heh-heh.
Anna: Goodbye. [The two leave into a back room winery in front of a brick wall.]
Hagrid: See, Anna? You're famous!
"But why?" Said Sirius.
Anna: But why am I famous, Hagrid? All those people back there, how is it they know who I am?
"That's what we want to know." Said Barty.
Hagrid: I'm not sure I'm exactly the right person to tell you that, Anna.
"Oh, come on." Whined Sirius.
[Taps the brick wall clockwise with his umbrella. The blocks then magically shift and open up to reveal a hidden, busy street called Diagon Alley.]
Hagrid: Welcome, Anna, to Diagon Alley. [Anna grins broadly as they step into the street and walk down it. An owl screeches.] Here's where yeh'll get yer quills and yer ink, and over there all yer bits and bobs fer doing yer wizardry. [Anna is amazed as they pass by shops and owls and bats. The camera pans on a broom store, where a group of boys are crowded around a shiny broom.]
Regulus, James, Sirius, Barty and Lucius look at broom awestruck.
"Padfoot do you see this?" Said James.
"How could i not see this beauty?" Said Sirius.
Girl: It's a world class racing broom.
Boy 1: Wow! Look at it! The new Nimbus 2000!
Boy 2: It's the fastest model yet. [The camera pans to see the broom's model name on the handle]
"I want this so much." Said Barty.
"Mhm." Said Regulus, not taking his eyes off broom.
Gringotts
[Anna and Hagrid continue walking down Diagon Alley]
Anna: But, Hagrid, how am I to pay for all this? I haven't any money.
"Of course you do. You're a Potter." Said James. Sirius nodded.
Hagrid: Well, there's yer money, Anna. [He points to a tall, white, marble building, Gringotts Bank] Gringotts, the Wizard Bank. T'ain't no safer place, not one. 'Cept perhaps Hogwarts. [Inside the bank, they walk down the shiny aisle, passing tiny creatures working at their desks.]
Anna: Uh, Hagrid, what exactly are they?
Hagrid: They're goblins, Anna. Clever as they come goblins but not the most friendly of beasts. Bes' stay close. [Anna sticks to him. Hagrid clears his throat as they approach a counter with a goblin, wearing spectacles and a waistcoat, in it.] Ms. Anna Potter wishes to make a withdrawal. [The goblin looks up.]
Goblin: And does Ms. Anna Potter have her key?
Hagrid: Oh, wait a minute. Got it here somewhere. Ha! There's the little devil.
"Why does he have Potter valut key?" Said Sirius, narrowing his eyes.
"Probably Dumbledore gave him." Said Remus.
"And why Dumbledore has it? He isn't a Potter." Said James glaring at screen.
"It's true. Dumbledore has no right to Potter Valut. He shouldn't have a key, even if you died. Not legally at least." Said smirking Lucius. James frowns, so does Remus, Lily and Sirius.
Hagrid: [Whispers] Oh, and there's something else as well. [Takes out a letter wrapped in a string.] Professor Dumbledore gave me this. [Hagrid hands the Goblin the letter.] It's about You-Know-What in vault You-Know- Which.
"Can he be any more suspicious?" Said Barty.
"Why did Dumbledore send Hagrid for a secret mission? He can't keep a secret even if his life depends on it. Everyone knows it." Said Remus.
Goblin: Very well. [Later, they race down the depth caverns in a cartlike structure. The cart stops, and a goblin, called Griphook, clambers out.]
Griphook: Vault 687. Lamp, please.[Hagrid hands him the lamp and he walks to the vault] Key, please. [Hagrid hands him the key and Griphook unlocks the vault. The room is filled nearly top to bottom with coins. Anna is amazed.]
Hagrid: Didn't think yer mum and dad will leave you with nothing now, did yeh? [They continue on through the cavern.]
Griphook: Vault 713.
Anna: What's in there, Hagrid?
Hagrid: Can't tell yeh, Anna. It's Hogwarts business. Very secret.
"You made her more interested!" Said Lily.
"Do you see that look? I have seen it before." Said Remus looking at James.
"He might as well tell her she will find out anyway." Agreed Sirius.
Griphook: Stand back. [Slides finger down the door. The vault opens to reveal a small white stone package. Hagrid enters the vault and scoops it up. The eerie light it was shining with disappears.]
"What do you think it is?" Said Sirius.
"Philosopher's stone." Said Narcissa.
"How do you know?" Asked James.
"It's literally in title. Anna Potter and the Philospher's stone." Said Regulus. Sirius glares at him.
Hagrid: Bes' not to mention this to anyone, Anna.
"She is gonna mention it to someone." Said Barty.
