The boy next door

The raindrops danced on the windows, creating a symphony of soothing sounds.

Lately, all I could experience was the sound of rain, filling the room with its melodic rhythm. It seemed like the rain had taken over the whole day, making me yearn for a change of scenery. I longed to go out and explore, but the rainy season dampened my plans. I didn't want to risk getting soaked and feeling uncomfortable.

I decided to sit down on my couch and laid on my back. I turned on the television to watch something fun to divert my mind.

The television was filled with nothing but only black and white dots gradient looking like mosquitoes, which has covered the whole. It was showing a void because of cloudy weather. There was no signal....

With a deep sigh I turned off the T.V and closed my eyes to take a quick nap.

'THUD'

A large sound came which woke me up from the half sleep. I sat down in confusion to search the source of that sound. After a few seconds rubbing my eyes and face, I realised it was coming from outside.

I grabbed the Handel of my door and twist it to open it. Glancing, There were huge pile of boxes on the floor. My eyes went in the way where the fridge was placed.

"Looks like someone is going to fill this empty apartment now." I said under my breath while examining the area.

"Excuse me sir, Passing through." Two people said who were wearing blue uniform. Seems like they were from the home shifting services. I stepped back and watched them moving boxes and furniture quietly.

I was curious about who was moving in this apartment. Would I get a quiet neighbour just like me? Would we be nice friends? Questions started to pool inside my head, I wanted to take a peek inside the house. So, I slowly stepped toward the open door. As it was just next to me, I managed to get inside without others getting suspicious.

"Sure, you can place it here." A Heavy deep voice could be heard ordering the workers from the service company. A man with wavy hair and tan skin, wearing black leather jacket became visible as the big painting moved from the front of his face by a worker.

Suddenly the warm, bright sun rays came through the window shining directly upon his face. Curiousity rose as I tried to look closely at his face with my hardly opening eyes.

I remember it was rainning heavily before now it's vivid and clear. Who is this guy clearing that cloudy and rainy sky with his appearance?

"How can I help you mister?" That guy said with raised brows.

I was too stunned to speak when I saw that handsome face of his. His eyes were perfectly fit in the shape of almonds. Those lips looked delicate like flowers petals. His features were admirable. Making me stutter, "Actually I..."

He removed his Jacket and showed his strong muscular body. Those biseps were sexy.... I gulped hard as I thoroughly scanned his body. His abs were slightly visible beneath that sando of his.

"Excuse me." I blinked my eyes when I realised he was standing just in front of me.

"Sorry I was zoned out... actually I live next to you in apartment 1212. I heard some noises so, I came out to take a look." I said nervously.

"I'm so sorry for those noises. I will treat you to dinner once I'm done with this shifting process."

"No.. no there is no need for that."

"Don't say no. It would be nice to be close to my neighbours." He said while holding my hands carefully.

"By the way I'm Tian. Glad to have an amazing neighbour like you by my side. Hope we get along in future. " He added as he gave me a smile.
