It was Monday, and you had school

Leah's pov 

My mom woke me up by yelling from downstairs 

Mom- LEAHHHH GET UP TIME FOR SCHOOL 

Leah- I'M UP 

I walk downstairs and smell something burning 

I look at my mom and she gives me an awkward smile 

I smile at her and grab an*insert fruit* that was right beside her 

I go back upstairs and get ready for school 

I put this on and put my hair up 

Leah- MOM I'M LEAVING 

Mom- wait ... just be nice to Nick ok 

I give her a weird look 

Leah- when am I not nice to him?

Mom- you are honey just y'know...

Leah- wait... are asking me to flirt with the guy I've been best friends with since I was in diapers 

my mom gave me a small smile

Leah- ok no... 1. he has a girlfriend 2. We are just friends

she sighs

Mom- all I'm saying is be nice to him but not too nice 😉 

Leah- MOM! I'm leaving before you make things more uncomfortable

Mom- bye honey love you

*time skip to school*   

I was in class sitting by myself
