Chap 2 : THE BEHIND STORY

Authors POV

Yoongi was still sitting on top of the bed sniffing thinking about how to go on about his life from now on, how was he going to face Jungkook or Taehyung.

He was sure either of the males did not want to see him, even though it wasn't his fault.

'knock knock'

A knock disturbed him from his thoughts and he quickly wiped his tears muttering a soft come in.

For a moment he hoped that it was Jungkook but was disappointed when his omega aunt Chan came in with carrying a fruit platter and a maid behind him carrying a hanbok.

"Good morning aunt Chan" Yoongi said as he tried to stand up and bow, only for Chan to push him back down and pull the blanket to his waist.

"Good morning Yoongi, no need to rise and greet me. You must limit your movements from now on" Chan said sitting next to the younger and placing the tray on Yoongis' lap.

Aunt Chan has always been sweet to him and right now this care that he was showing made Yoongi feel as if he wasn't alone, at least he had him by his side.

"Now eat, feed both yourself and the little one." Chan said feeding Yoongi the yogurt and the fruit salad.

But the younger only ate a few mouthfuls before saying he was full, he really didn't have an appetite for food at the moment.

Chan could only sigh at that," Yoongi no word that I say would pacify you right now. I'm sorry for what Taehyung did to you, that was wrong on his part especially drugging you that was way over the line. I'm sorry you had to be caught in between all of this"  Chan said truly remorseful and wished he could beat some sense into those young Alphas heads.

"Thank you Aunt Chan" Yoongi said feeling better at the kind words, at least someone saw that it was not his fault. He was an innocent victim in this whole thing.

"OK, then let's get you freshened up and dress in this hanbok, we'll be celebrating your pregnancy that's why it's the color yellow. And also where's that Jade hair pin Yoona?"  Chan stood up prepared to get busy with Yoongi when the younger omega held his hand.

" Hmm "

" Who's Jimin? " the younger asked recalling how all this was a revenge plan for Jimin.

Chan was dumbstruck for a second before sitting back on the hand with a nostalgic expression.

Flashback narration

Jimin, the delicate omega who was known for his beauty, perfectly small beauty with golden blonde hair and ocean eyes. There was no flaw about him physically, even his voice was soft and humble making Alphas feel like possessing him.

But only Taehyung was lucky enough to be noticed and loved by the omega, and so did the alpha. Because the patriarch of the family was still Elder Kim Seungmin, he didn't approve of this pair of lovebirds for Jimin was a lowborn orphan who had nothing to his name.

Only his meager salary for teaching first graders music at a public school, the omega was indeed gifted in that department, his voice soothing even the most irrational mind.

Flashback endz

"Like you he was naive trusted everyone and believed that everyone was kind enough to have his best interests at heart, kinda reminds me of you(chuckles). So elder Kim threatened to remove Taehyung from the family registry meaning that the alpha would have no money or backing. No one in the business world would touch him after knowing that he was cast away"

Chan narrated for Yoongi before continuing,

"Jimin stood by Taehyung during that time because of the love that both of them shared, and created a proof of their love. Jimin became pregnant and everyone in the family was ecstatic at the news and wanted Taehyung to come back with him."

"If everyone was so happy then what happened, Taehyung hyung clearly said that it was my husband's fault"  the younger asked imagining a happy family suddenly shattered.

"Jungkook was in a bad place in his life, he was on drugs at that time. He'd be clean for a few months and then relapse over night. It was hard on everyone to deal with him and so with Jimin  and Taehyung moving in, Jungkook had an episode or more like did cocaine. And at his high that boy was just ruthless and mean, didn't care about anyone. It just so happened that Jimin was the only one at home that day when Jungkook came back hammered and he forced himself to Jimin hurting the omega. After that Jungkook passed out in his room whilst Jimin limped his way out of the house all the way to the Seoul River and committed suicide there."

Yoongi was taken back by the information, Jungkook his Jungkook was once a drug addiction and did shameful things on the influence. Now he suddenly felt grateful to Taehyung for the sleeping pills otherwise he would have killed himself too molested by his brother in law.

Tears flowed down the omega face as Chan tried to calm him down.

"Yoongi what's done is done, we can't reverse it but the matter of the fact is Taehyung took his revenge on you, a person who shouldn't be involved in any way. Honestly all of us in the family had thought that Taehyung forgave Jungkook for that incident but it seems like we were wrong. "

" Yoona make the bed I'll help him freshen up" Chan said to the maid getting up to help Yoongi into the bathroom.

Yoongi knelt in front of the alter lighting the incess sticks praying for a healthy pregnancy as the rest of the family stood behind him.

Then the older members of the family gifted him all kinds of gifts, to thank him for allowing the Kim seed to be nurtured in his womb.

After the ceremony was  done the omega decided to make himself jasmine tea, as he couldn't stomach the eggs or anything else at the breakfast table maybe also the fact that he somehow wanted to avoid both Taehyung and Jungkook.

And so he sat on one of the stools in the kitchen eating his breakfast when both people he wanted to avoid came and stood before him.
