June 15th 1983

Well I did say that I'd write again if something happened and well something did happen. To sum it up the workload has piled up significantly and we've been knackered, Molly especially. Although somethings seemed of. This is because most of our trains have been steel or stone trains and a lot of them have had to go to Wellsworth so thats a bit strange. I personally think it's a building project on that branch, of the docks maybe or the claypits perhaps? George thinks it's being imported but I dont know why it would be, not saying hes wrong though...

We're finally going to get answers! Let me explain:

So while we were getting the engines ready for the day Sir Topham Hatt (the controller of the railway) popped by and said that he needed all of us needed to be at the sheds tonight as he had a very important announcement to make, we didn't really complain about it because it means less work and no night shift so yay! And we get answers possibly on why we've been so busy so we'll see how everything goes tonight. As soon as I find out I'll give an update if it's actually important. I mean it could be a random-ass new engine for all we know...

Oh my god, shit just got as real as hell,

So as I said earlier we had to returned to Tidmouth sheds. At about 7PM to find Emily, Gordon, James and Henry already there however a few minutes later Edward pulled in. He and Molly started talking while me and George talked with Charlie and Sidney. Apparently things have been extremely busy on their branchline, so much so that they've had to work through night and day! Which explains why they've seemed so tired. Can't say I'm surprised with all the trains that have been at Wellsworth. Anyways, Sir Topham arrived and God, he looked awful and very, very panicked. Immediately we all fell into a concerned silence. Apart from Edward;:

"Sir is everything alright?"

All Topham did was look at the ground, and sighed before muttering; "I'm sorry". Before beginning.

"As you might know there have been a lot of steel and stone trains going to Wellsworth, and yes there is a reason for this. As a lot of you know back in the early 1910s before the NWR was formed there were 3 rail companies; the S&M railway, the elsbridge light railway and the wellsworth and Suddery railway. The Wellsworth and Suddery railway used to run on the tracks that are now Edward's branchline up to Suddery, as some of you may have seen, near the station is a harbor and said harbor was the W&S's main port, however ever since Brendam was built the harbor has fallen into disrepair and has become abandoned. However that's all about to change. Starting next week, restoration on the old harbor will begin. However it will be repurposed from a harbor into a gas facility. This is because I was approached by a group of individuals who wished to start importing this gas overseas and Suddery would be the perfect place to do it, fortunately though I was informed that the gas is extremely deadly and if it were to leak or worse explode. Results would be fatal. So the reason I am here is to ask for a dedicated engine out of you six to help with the restoration of the harbor and its opening. Do I have a volunteer?

The was then a long pause before:

Emily: I'll do it

Sir Topham: Are you absolutely sure?

Emily: Well if no one else is doing it, I dont see why not

Sir Topham: Very well. Thank you

Sir topham turned and walked of leaving all of us stunned but then...

Shit got real.

Molly: Emily I-

Emily: Shut up.

Molly: Oh, OK but I just wanted to check-

Emily: OH SO NOW YOU'RE SPEAKING TOOK YOU LONG ENOUGH YOU COWARD!

Edward: Emily that was uncalled for!

Emily: SHUT-UP EDWARD! HONESTLY YOU TWO ARE JUST PATHETIC, YOU SHOULD HAVE GONE TO WORK THERE CUZ YOU ARE ROTTEN, FILTHY, DIRTY PRATS!

Gordon: I second that!

James: Same here!

Henry: Not you two as well!

Gordon: I should say the same to you! I never thought you would level with these failures!

Edward: Who are you calling failures?!

Gordon: YOU! YOU OLD FART!

Gordon: YOU! YOU OLD FART!

Henry: SHUT UP SAUSAGE!

James: Oh are we getting personal tree huger?!

Henry: PIPE DOWN RUSTY RED SCRAP IRON!

Emily: Oh look who's talking!

Henry: Shut your trap bitch!

Emily: Bitch?! At least I'm not a bastard!

As the arguing continued each engine became more red in the face, so I called over to George to get in Molly and I did as well and as soon as the turntable was set we got the hell out of there.

We headed to Knapford but while we were going through the harbor I swear I could here a slight noise from the sheds still, Jeez.

We pulled into the sheds only to see Neville and Murdoch, Molly's two closest friends. As soon as we pulled in they noticed how cross molly looked and immediately began talking to her. In the meantime me and George talked with their crews and explained everything and they were astounded by it all. After a bit more talking we decided to head home. I have a feeling this will only get worse before it gets better though.
