Y/N was sitting cross-legged on the bed, pouting and sulking as she stuffed her clothes into her suitcase with exaggerated huffs. Her movements were sharp and agitated, a clear sign of her frustration.
Why?
Because today at 4 o'clock in the morning, JK received a call saying he had some urgent work at the office.
That's why she is sulking as she couldn't spend more time here.
"Some people always mean to disturb others' peace," Y/N murmured under her breath, glaring at a particularly stubborn zipper.
JK, who had just finished his own packing, leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed and a playful smirk on his face as he observed his little wife being sulky and talking to herself.
"So my wifey wants to spend her honeymoon for a few more days? That too peacefully? How come a honeymoon has to be peaceful? It should be nasty and rough-"
He couldn't say further as she shut him up by placing her hand on his mouth, her cheeks flushing a deep crimson.
"Sh-shut up, you pervert," she said, her voice a mix of embarrassment and annoyance.
JK raised an eyebrow, his eyes dancing with amusement. "What? Isn't it done that way? Don't you prefe-" he started again after she removed her hand.
"You are a pervert! Stop it, you idiot!" she exclaimed, swatting his arm before turning back to her suitcase.
JK chuckled, moving closer to her and wrapping his arms around her waist from behind.
"Okay, okay. I'm sorry. I'll make it up to you when we get back, promise."
Y/N sighed, leaning back into his embrace despite herself. "You better," she mumbled, still pouting.
Jeon's POV:
I stepped into the office, adjusting my tie and trying to shake off the guilt of leaving Y/N so abruptly. She had looked so disappointed, and the memory of her pouty face kept flashing in my mind. As much as I tried to focus on the urgent meeting, my thoughts kept drifting back to her.
"Mr. Jeon, congratulations once again on your recent wedding," Mr. Park greeted me warmly as he extended his hand.
"Thank you, Mr. Park," I replied, shaking his hand firmly. "And congratulations to you too on closing the big deal. It's a significant milestone for our company."
Mr. Park smiled appreciatively. "Thank you. Also, I apologize for calling you in during your honeymoon. It must have been inconvenient."
I let out a small chuckle. "It's alright. The meeting was important. But," I added with a slight smirk, "next time, maybe avoid scheduling urgent meetings during such times. I wouldn't hesitate to cancel."
We both laughed, the tension easing a bit. "Well, someone is whipped for his wife," Mr. Park teased.
"Indeed," I admitted, grinning foolishly as I thought of Y/N. "She deserves my time and attention."
As we concluded our discussion and shook hands once more, I felt a surge of determination. I needed to make it up to Y/N for this interruption. The meeting had gone well, and I was relieved it hadn't taken too long. Now, all I could think about was getting back to my little wife as soon as possible.
Lost in his thoughts, he barely noticed the bustling city streets around him as he made his way back home. But as he stepped into their apartment, he knew he had to find a way to express his feelings, even if it meant risking rejection.
