Riddles

Chapter 5

Mia finally finished all of her classes and started to get ready to meet Cedric, she got in her favorite pink silk dress when the zipper got caught on a string. Mia ran into the boy's side of the common room, "Mattheo my dress is stuck, can you get it!"

"Sure." Mattheo went to zip Mia's dress, Mia could feel his cold hands brushing against her bare back. She felt him pause for a moment and then finished zipping it, "There you go." "Thanks." Mattheo kneeled to the floor "May I have this dance!" Mattheo said, trying not to laugh, Mia bowed and they started dancing.

 After a bit she started her adventure to the clock tower, she slowly crept into the boy's side of the Gryffindor common room to borrow Harry's invisibility cloak. 

Mia held her breath looking everywhere struggling to find Harry's cloak, when she heard someone causing her to jump, "Mia what are you doing? Harry whispered into the darkness, "Where's your cloak?" Mia whispered back blindly "Under the bed.. Wait where are you going?" Harry said squinting his eyes to see, "It doesn't matter!" Mia quickly ran out of the common room and outside. Walking blindly into the darkness she saw a faint light and she ran towards it.

Mia quickly reached the clock tower walking up the steps, she could faintly see Cedric waiting for her. Mia took the cloak off so she wouldn't trip on it. Mia slowly crept to the top and grabbed Cedric's hand joining him staring off into the forest he started to speak, "I'm thinking about joining the tournament." Mia's heart dropped, "That's dangerous isn't it?" Mia questioned already knowing the answer. "Well it can be!" 

Cedric and Mia talked about it for quite some time while Mia shared about what was happening since Cedric should know so he can help when needed, when finally the sun started to rise. "We better go back, they're probably already looking for me!" Mia suggested  "I guess it's getting to be that time isn't it." Cedric said smiling, "Thanks for talking to me about it. If you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here for you!" Mia replied 

Mia and Cedric started heading back to the common room. But as Cedric was dropping her off he landed a quick kiss on her cheek. "I'll see you tomorrow." He whispered and off he went walking down the hallway, Mia stood there stunned.  

Mia had to leave the school to do extra training and when she got back, "Mia! There you are!" Pansy said getting up from her chair, "Cedric is in the hospital wing!" Pansy explained what happened.

Mia went to the hospital wing to check up on Cedric. "How are you doing?" Cedric sat up and looked at Mia "Great you?" "I'm sorry that I ditched you." Mia said, grasping his hand "It's okay I'm not mad about it, I really like you Mia. Last night I thought that I'd never see you again-" 

"I like you too." Mia replies as Cedric grabs Mia's cheek while sitting up to kiss her. Mia and Cedric kissed but were soon interrupted by heels clicking down the hall progressively getting closer to them, Mia gave him one quick kiss then walked out. 

"Amelia Potter, now what would you be doing at this time of day?" Mrs.Umbridge questioned with that sour look she always kept on her face as Mia was about to answer Hagrid put his hand on Mia's shoulder.

 "Helping me find Harry, come on Mia let's go!" Hagrid quickly pushed Mia down the hallway "Don't say a word" Hagrid whispered, still shoving Mia down the hallway. Soon after Mia got her shoes back on correctly she proposed the question "So, just to clarify we aren't looking for Harry are we?" Hagrid smiled, "Umbridge knows you and Harry are related to Sirius." Suddenly the door opened and Harry walked in. Mia quickly walked over to him, "Harry how nice to see you, we were just talking about you!" Harry quickly looked at Mia angrily, "All good things all good things! Mia said, shaking her head quickly, "Umbridge knows that we're related to Sirius." Hagrid looked at Harry surprised at how forward she was, "Anyway what she was supposed to say was that you guys just have to be careful around Umbridge don't use your wands around her she'll feed off of that." "Oh, why?" "Because you guys are more powerful than the others because you guys are special. Since you survived you know who's zap."  "okay!" Mia said shrugging her shoulders "Anyway Mia I just wanted to tell you that Prof.Mcgonagall needed to see you for a second!"
