Y/N's POV

You've been running into this woman a lot lately, haven't you? Not that Jiwoo turned out to be your son's kindergarten teacher, no, now she was also your blind date. Either the whole thing was a really bad joke or someone up there in heaven wanted to give you a sign. Regardless of which of the two was right, the situation you were currently in was making you relatively nervous. What kind of impression did she have to have of you? All your encounters were always the same: you made a fool of yourself. The fact that you then totally messed up your greeting and started stuttering didn't make it any better. 'Am I dreaming?' What were you thinking, you fool? That was certainly embarrassing! You'd rather just turn into a puddle and be mopped up by the nearest waiter. But you're lucky that your date hadn't actually left yet. Maybe there was a good side to it somewhere. "Eh... ehm... I'm glad you're here." Still not controlling your voice, you clear your throat briefly and fish for the menu card with your hands, "I'm Park Y/N ... but you already know that." Maybe you should just shut the fuck up, right now you're really just spouting the stupidest things and that would surely only make things worse. But a soft laugh pulled you right back under its spell, it worked wonders, because somehow it had a calming effect on you. "Cute," it slipped unconsciously over your lips as you looked over at Jiwoo, who only gave you the smile that had been buzzing in your head for days.

Chuu's POV

Somehow her awkward manner was quite cute. I guess it wasn't that often that she went on blind dates like that, at least that's what I thought. I could speak a little from experience, I'd probably been on one or two more and could therefore tell the difference between a good or bad blind date. But Y/N got a plus point from me, because I found this kind of behavior much more pleasant than if she was far too full of herself. Mirroring her gestures, I also took the menu in my hands and flicked through the pages. My gaze occasionally shifted from the menu to Y/N, who was only looking at her menu, and the blush on her cheeks became more and more noticeable with each glance. I didn't think I would have such an effect on her, but to be honest, I liked it. "Decided what you want to eat yet? I somehow can't decide ~" I looked over at her again and she could only see my eyes lurking over the edge of the menu, as I hid the rest of my face and my smug smile with it. As if I had pulled her out of her slumber, she responded to my statement, "Huh? Oh... eh yeah, I... eh... think I'll order the spaghetti bolognese." With that, she also put the menu to one side and before her eyes met mine, they flew across the restaurant. "Hmm... then I'll just have the same," the menu in my hand also found its way back to the table and without hesitation, I raised my hand to wave one of the waiters over. When he arrived at our table, I started to order and mentioned that we would like the Bolognese.

While we waited for the food, we chatted a little more and we actually had quite a bit of time to catch up because the kitchen seemed to be taking an awfully long time to get our order ready? Anyway, the more we talked, the less nervous Y/N got and I realized that we really had a lot in common. I was more and more amazed and fascinated by her, even if she didn't want to admit it herself, her company was more than pleasant and she radiated a certain down-to-earthness. Admittedly, I seemed to be falling for her more and more, whether I wanted to or not. I even laughed at the odd joke she told me, even though it was probably completely stupid to outsiders... it just came so naturally. Our attention then turned to the waiter, who finally brought the food over. "Didn't we order for two?" came the question from Y/N as she turned her gaze back to me and I countered her eye contact: "...I said for both of us?" Before we could question each other further, a huge plate was placed in the middle of our table, filled with a large pile of spaghetti bolognese and fork for each of us. Both Y/N and I just looked at the food in confusion as the waiter bowed and wished us bon appétit before disappearing again. I really felt like I was in a fake movie, this scene reminded me of the Disney movie Lady and the Tramp. Did the people do this on purpose? Or did she plan it in advance? Based on her reaction, I don't think so. Out of the corner of my eye I noticed that she was about to stand up, but out of reflex I put my hand on hers and shook my head slightly: "It's okay, I don't mind sharing." She just looked me in the eye and was rooted to the spot before she slowly sat back down in her seat and answered me with a nod of her head.

My mind occasionally wandered to the famous scene from the movie, what if we really got the same spaghetti? That would be a really strange coincidence, but it certainly wouldn't happen to us. I picked up my fork and leaned a little further across the table so that I could treat myself to the first bite: "Let's have a go then, shall we?" I smiled at her, as I had done many other times, and brought the fork to my mouth. The Bolognese was really delicious, so it was worth the wait and she seemed to like it too, even if she was hesitant at first and decided to have some too. And as if I hadn't already jinxed it, exactly what had just been running through my head happened. Not right at the beginning, but just after we stuck our forks into the Bolognese for the umpteenth time and wanted to experience another taste on our tongues, a long noodle stretched from my mouth to hers. Our eyes met, lingered for a while and without thinking we started to nibble on the noodle. My gaze never left hers, time stopped around us as I got closer and closer until the table stopped me from leaning completely over it. Y/N bit through the noodle and stopped me from falling onto the plate as she braced her hands against my shoulders. Only now did I realize what I had just done and the blush just literally shot up my face. I sat back down and turned my eyes away from her in embarrassment.

Y/N's POV

What has just happened? It was only after you stopped Jiwoo from falling into the pasta that you realized the tension between you. The only thing you could see at that moment were her eyes, which were getting closer and closer and, strangely enough, you couldn't move at all. If the table hadn't been in the way, you would probably have just let it happen and you liked the thought of it even more than you wanted to admit. It's also the first time all evening that you've seen your date with a red glow on her cheeks, whereas you've probably spent most of the evening blushing. You felt warm all over your face and your heart was racing like crazy, so you quickly reached for your glass of water and drained the entire contents in what felt like a single gulp. "The food is so good that you almost forget everything else," a weak laugh rang through your throat and you tried to break the inevitable silence that had built up. Jiwoo also replies with a small laugh and you both just make the best of the situation.

Some time later, you slowly came to the end of your date or was it really the end? When asked who would pay for it, you automatically put your money on the bill before Jiwoo could even react. On the way out of the restaurant, you decided relatively quickly that you would accompany her home. You didn't really talk much during this time, you just enjoyed being together and the silence around you. Of course, there were the typical city noises, but they only emphasized your togetherness all the more. It wasn't until you arrived at Jiwoo's apartment that you realized how quickly the rest of the time had passed. Now you were standing there, looking over at her and she also turned her attention to you, still not saying a word. You just looked into her eyes and lost yourself more and more in them the longer you looked. Those mesmerizing dark brown eyes, those beautiful lips... the tension between you grew again and Jiwoo stepped closer. You were also drawn closer to her and before you knew it, she was pulling you towards her by the collar of your blouse and placing her lips on yours. Surprised by her forwardness, you also lost control, put your hands on her cheeks and returned the kiss without thinking. Your kiss dragged on, Jiwoo wrapping her hands around your neck, nipping your lower lip and opening her mouth slightly, and the whole thing intensified even more. Slowly it came to an end, she pulled away from you and you both breathed heavily. Only eye contact was still maintained and out of the corner of your eye you saw her biting her lip.

"Do you want to come upstairs with me?"

Author: There you go. Now the big question is, do i end the story with the next chapter or do i continue? What do you think? I do have an idea for more, but i don't want to stretch it too far actually.

Also as you can see, i decided against changing up the style, since i started in this blocky fashion and didn't wanted to have different styles within the story lmao.
