Another day, another time to think. I need to think for a plan. It had only been two weeks since I escaped from that prison, and there was no place I could go to. I mean yeah, actually I have. I know a person, and I know where to find him. Riding the bus was the hard part. Having people to not recognize me was giving me trouble, but I did something simple anyway. Just a pair of jacket, a mask, and a cap would do. I fixed my cap on my hair as I zipped up my green puff jacket. Once I had ridden the bus, no one suspected anything.
Which was good, but the chances of not getting caught was still low. Safely, I got out of the bus with no problem as I walked by the street lights, waiting for a black car. I was sitting on an empty bench, waiting for my ride to arrive. And eventually, in a few minutes it did. The black SUV shortly came and parked by the side of the road, as a man in a suit came out from the car, his bangs slicked halfway back.
"Knew you'd need my help someday."
The man spoke.
"Yeah sure. Now will you get me a place to crash?" The man laughed. Of course he would.
"Fine, get in the car." I quickly followed him back to his car, having to sit on the front. Starting the car, he drove to where seems to be no buildings. It was a quite isolated place, with no lights.
"Where is this place?"
I looked out of the window, noticing that the road was right beside the sea as well.
"Don't worry, this place is far from the city. Theres barely any buildings here except for shops and small convenience stores. Ofcourse, apart from the stores there are several apartments. Small buildings, not quite bigger than the city."
I nodded quietly at his resort. This was a perfect place for me to hide. Well, just for now.
Soon we arrived on a small building that's between small stores and shops. We parked on the side and got out.
"Here, these are your keys. This apartment is not much, but It's spacious enough for you to live in for a couple of months." He gave me a pair of keys and gestured for me to go inside.
"Wow, you really are something Kang Taehyun. Nonetheless, thank you."
I said as I crept up a small smile.
"Small things, it's my thank you gift for helping me back then."
He gave me a wave in his hands as he got inside his car and drove away. I sighed as I looked back at the small apartment. It didn't look half bad. I went inside to quickly find my room number, surprisingly it's just on the 2nd floor. Rustling the keys in my hands, I flung open the door. The apartment look half decent, he was right about it being spacious though. I closed the door behind me as I threw my stuff in the couch. It wasn't that luxurious, but it's great.
Laying my body on the couch, I start to reminisce about my escape in prison. It took me a year to create a plan to escape that hellhole, and gladly did. Jaehyun really pissed me off in that prison. He and his slaves were no different than him. My cellmate, Kim Mingyu, was the only person I befriended. He was tough at first, and mean. But throughout the year, he helped me do my escape plan. He had been sentenced for five years which is less than me by the way, but he went to prison first. So he knew his way around the prison, the escape tunnels it had within. He helped me escape through one of them, though he himself never escaped it.
We also have the psycho in prison, Kai Kamal Huening. He came from the mental hospital, got sentenced for killing many doctors after staying too long in the calming rooms. Can't blame him though, he was scared and terrified. We might call him a psycho because of his past, but he's sweet and caring. Other than being obsessed with his cellmate, Sunghoon.
