"Thank you, come again!" Tenten waved as her customer walked out of her weapons shop. "Sighhh...... so quiet today, though it is pretty much everyday." It had been 7 years since Boruto had stopped Kawaki, who is now doing on a journey much like Sauske's to atone for his crimes. She missed Neji everyday, despite how many years it had been. After closing up the shop, Tenten decided that she would go visit Neji. She walked into Ino Yamanaka's flower shop. "Welcome in! Oh, Tenten! What a nice suprise!" she was greeted by her old friend, Ino. "Hi Ino! I'm looking for some flowers for someone." Ino's face saddened a bit, as she knew who Tenten was talking about. "Of course. We have some lovely peony's that just came in." she said, as they both headed to the back of the store.
"Thank you! Come again!" Ino waved Tenten off. As she walked towards the graveyard, Tenten couldn't help the tears forming in her eyes. By the time she reached his grave, they were already pouring down her face. Despite how she was feeling, she wiped her tears away, determined to be strong, knowing that crying would only make her feel worse. "Hi Neji. I brought you some flowers" she said, as she kneeled down to place the flowers on the grave. "I miss you everyday. I wish you could see how the village you worked so hard and gave your live to protect looks like now. I wish... that you could be with me, and Lee, and everyone else" Tenten talked about what happening in the village currently, the holidays, how Christmas was coming up, and everyone was preparing for it, and how her job was going. "Well, it's time for me to get going. I'll come back soon."
As she was walking back to her apartment, she suddenly sensed a strange but familiar aura. She paused and looked around, but there was no one there. She shrugged it off, and continued walking home. As she was approaching her apartment, there was a hooded figure in the alley next to her home. She immediately jumped back, kunai in one hand, ninja scroll in the other. The figure approached her, and just as she was about to attack. She saw his face. "N-neji?"
