I arrive to my new home in NYC with my aunt and uncle, they were quite rich so they had a big home. I had to move from Texas with my parents to New York with these people because my parents weren't doing so well financially and they wanted me to have a good education so they sent me here with my rich part of the family.
I'm not going to lie, i'm not mad about it, being able to go to a private school and have my own room is tempting. My aunt and uncle didn't have any children so that's why they agreed to take me under their wing, they were nice the loved me to death, ever since i was little showered me with gifts when they lived in Texas.
Anyways, I'm kind of nervous to start a new life, I've always wanted to live in the city, especially in NY, so here I am living my fucking dream.
We entered we big house, it was nice and clean, a big golden retriever came running at the door and lunged onto me making me drop my bags and fall on the floor. I laugh as the dog licked my face.
"Oh I'm so sorry dear! Rocket loves meeting new people" My aunt says grabbing the doggy now i know the name of as Rocket, by the collar so he lets me get up. I laugh lightly and shake my head smiling. "It's okay Aunt Rosie, he's really cute and soft anyways" I say getting up and petting the dogs head.
My uncle comes in a few moments later with my suitcases in hand, he looks at Rocket and smiles as he pushes the door shut with his foot and lets go of my suitcases to go and pet Rocket. "Who's such a good boy!" My uncle says to the dog and i can't help but smile at the sight, i take my phone out taking a picture at the cute moment thinking about posting it later.
My aunt turns to look at me, "C'mon dear, let me show you your new room" she says walking toward the large set of double stairs. "Don't worry about your suitcases love, I'll take them up there in a bit" My uncle says and i thank him, picking up my bags that i dropped and followed Aunt Rosie up the stairs.
Once we get up the stairs there's 3 hallways, she takes me to the one on the far right and there are 2 doors, she opens the one at the end of the hallway and it's a large bedroom with a large balcony. The room already had furniture in the walls painted a pretty light shade of pink just like I liked it, and the bed was king sized. There was also a large window beside the balcony, a large window seat to be exact.
The bedsheets and the window seat were both pink and there was a white vanity on the wall next to the balcony and a TV hung on the wall right in front of the bed. I gwak in awe at the room, seeing some small plant decor and a few little things like lotion and skin care supplies on the vanity. "We were going to get you more things like a couch but we decided on keeping it simple, so you can pick out the things you want later on and decorate it" My aunt says as she watches me in amusement as i look around the room with my mouth open.
